Friendly staff and cozy pub atmosphere with great food
Nice “gastro” pub, but a pity that they have reduced their vegetarian options. They used to have a Veg Jalfrezie as one of their vegetarian curry options, as well as a really nice Spinach Artichoke dips. Both of these are off their menu. But what they have is very good - the veggie burger my wife ordered is one of the best we’ve had and the veggie chili was also excellent. Good selection of local beers on tap.
Nice little place in the heart of North York. Great beer, food is good and excellent service. Came here on a Tuesday evening, and it was surprisingly really busy.
This is like going to Cheers. Everybody knows your name. Great place. Great food, basic. Nothing fancy. Exactly what you're going to expect and a staff to match
Nice pub with a good variety of beers. Only negative was going to the basement for the washrooms.
Super friendly staff, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. Loved the place
The best local pub in the area. Always busy, with great food, a homey atmosphere, and a long beer list.
The staff are amazing, the food was excellent the atmosphere is wonderful.
Great friendly service. Food was delicious especially the chips. It was celebration of 2birthdays in our group of 4 and the unexpectedly delivered a sticky toffee pudding and apple crisp with whipped cream and a candle. A lovely time
