Nice “gastro” pub, but a pity that they have reduced their vegetarian options. They used to have a Veg Jalfrezie as one of their vegetarian curry options, as well as a really nice Spinach Artichoke dips. Both of these are off their menu. But what they have is very good - the veggie burger my wife ordered is one of the best we’ve had and the veggie chili was also excellent. Good selection of local beers on tap.
Great friendly service. Food was delicious especially the chips. It was celebration of 2birthdays in our group of 4 and the unexpectedly delivered a sticky toffee pudding and apple crisp with whipped cream and a candle. A lovely time
Superb English style pub in Toronto! My partner and I stumbled on the Abbot Pub while walking on Yonge, looking for somewhere to eat. Well, what an excellent choice we made! The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the servers were very welcoming and friendly! The fish and chips were on point! The cod was mouthwatering- light and flaky, and the chips were the perfect level of crispy. Honestly, they were the best chips I have had in a long time. Great selection of beers, too! Will...
