Food was nice but customer service was poor. Serving staff can benefit from additional customer service training if they want the customers back!

Adrak in Yorkville is where elegance meets authentic Indian flavours. The ambiance is sophisticated and serene, with every detail radiating elegance. Each dish was a masterpiece — beautifully presented, bursting with authentic Indian flavors, and elevated with a modern twist. The service was warm yet polished, making the whole experience unforgettable. A true destination for high-class Indian dining.

We went to this restaurant tonight and had an excellent experience. Being Indian ourselves, we are very particular in how Authentic Indian food tastes and find many Indian restaurants in the downtown Toronto area to be catered more towards non-Indian flavors. We are also vegetarian so are quite picky in that regard as well. The food here is excellent. The dishes that we had were very good. As well, the staff at this restaurant is amazing. Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We had the opportunity to speak to Anu and Jayesh who served us wonderfully and took time to conversate with us. Thank you so much for the hospitality. This is a restaurant that we would come back to again.

It would be a 4/5 if it wasn’t so overpriced for the quality. The waiters are quite awkward every time we went

Unnecessarily pretentious

An overly expensive pretentious dinner that lacked in taste which it tried to make up for through overwhelming service but failed miserably.
It’s wild to see how an Indian restaurant that’s promising an elevated culinary experience grossly misses to deliver the one true
joy of our culture, it’s Food.
From its appetizers to mains and then to desserts, dishes are forgettable, invoke no curiosity and are just boring to the pallate.
It is a beautiful restaurant with carefully selected china and theatrical cocktails but boy oh boy serves food which is largely underwhelming and obviously catered to an audience that’s unfamiliar(ish) to Indian cuisine.
It does not live upto the hype, mostly saddened by this experience.

We ordered the vegetarian thal and the chaat platter. Both of these were disappointing.
The vegetarian platter’s paneer tikka was excellent. It was well marinated and delicious. The stuffed potato however was quite the opposite. It wasn’t very well seasoned and ends up tasting like plain boiled potatoes after the first few bites. I had to drench mine in the green chutney to make it interesting. The cauliflower had a similar problem. Chunky cauliflower always means bland insides and this was exactly that.
Moving on to the chaat platter - there is a lot going on here. The dish has a lot of potential but is squandered by being drenched with the yogurt tamarind and mint sauce. All the different chaat on that platter just end up blending together except for the cauliflower again which stood out but not in a pleasant way. The tahini sauce on that did not go with the rest of the platter.

I did like the vibe of the place and the service was impeccable. Just didn’t feel we got what we paid for with the food. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes..

I went there for my convocation celebration, with my partner. Perfect place for date and for every occasion as well. The food was amazing in presentation, taste, Quantity, spice level etc. Worth the hype and worth the every penny i spent. They should have more options in chicken particularly but I guess they have limited menu because of their top notch taste. 10/10
The only thing I don’t like is the way the manager on reception welcome us. Like before visiting I tried to call them for reservation many times but somehow they cut the call or didn’t pickup. Also we had trouble in finding parking space but Can’t contact them. P.S. - I used the contact number from google maps of their restaurant.
So we walked in and when he asked I told him about this, in reply he gave me sarcastic laugh and denied that it is impossible. Like Do you really think I am lying about this? This doesn’t make any sense to me and in seconds spoiled my mood. But because It was my big day I ignored and he said we have availability though I can see the place was not crowded at all as it was a weekday! We got the table. But whenever He came to my table I don’t like it because of his sarcastic behaviour, which led me to give lesser tip as well!
Otherwise compliments to Chef and rest of the staff, perfect place for spending memorable evening.
