Affinity Fish should honestly have a Michelin star by now. The quality is phenomenal. Dry-aged local fish treated with absolute precision and respect. We had Japanese-style preparations and sashimi that were pristine and deeply flavorful—some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The fish sandwich was exceptional, perfectly balanced and executed, and the Japanese-style curry was rich, comforting, and clearly made with the same attention to detail as the raw fish. Every option we tried was outstanding. This place is operating at a very high culinary level and stands out as something truly special.

I recently attended a private event and the Great Lakes fish options - including Perch Sliders, Smoked Whitefish Croquettes and Salmon were outstanding! Great atmosphere and service.
Absolutely love what the place is about and what the owners are doing. Their passion towards their craft is palpable and if you love fish, you must visit! Honouring Japanese practices and flavours while partnering with Indigenous fisherfolk right in Ontario. Such a beautiful partnership and unique way to try the fish we have locally.
Currently pregnant so will have to return to try their dinner menu that features more raw fish offerings. The lunch menu sets are so delicious and thoughtful. Cannot get over our delicious udon and cheesecake. Can’t wait to go back!
