Delicious African food on queen street west. We ordered the vegetarian egusi, fufu, side of plantain and coleslaw. Everything was delicious and very flavourful. Can’t wait to try more things on the menu!

The West African food at Afrobeats Kitchen has the flavour I was craving. I’m so thankful we booked a reservation because the restaurant itself isn’t very big, but can get busy pretty quickly. The vegetarian/vegan options were appreciated and quite filling. We also ordered party Jollof with beef and one with chicken which were both a hit! Thank you for the incredibly good food
and hospitality.

AK is always a yes. I’ve tried about 80% of the dishes on the menu. All take outs. I’ve yet to visit in person. But they always deliver (get it? ?)

The food here is absolutely amazing!! Blown away by the bold, spicy and smokey combos at this authentic West African joint.in Parkdale. For those who love spicy food this place is a hidden gem - the level be adjusted between medium hot, spicy and maija.

Favourites: shrimp surfers are perfection. The BBQ Suya steak with coconut rice and braised greens, jollof, wings were crispy and seasoned well, and their fried plantain kelewele tostone added some sweetness to balance out the meal. Great for a big group, try multiple dishes family style!

Space is on the smaller side but they have a nice patio out back with some greenery, good music and vibe.

Vegetarian options: Have a vegan option

Had a great time at Afrobeat Kitchen today! I ordered the Party Jollof Rice, and shared the fried plantain starter! I personally wasn’t a fan of the jollof rice (Too smokey for my taste), but the flavours were bold and the beef was beyond tender! It’s also HALAL. The tostones starter were
AMAZING, especially the sauce. Please get it! Service was very friendly and warm. Portions were generous, and the vibe/ music made me feel at home, honestly. I would definitely visit again and try some different options. Thank you!

Today I discovered one of my favourite bites in the city with the kelewele tostones! If you love fried plantain, you have to give these spiced plantains a try.

I also tried the efo riro, I believe, and that was also great! Next time, I would just order the spiciest possible version, because I ordered regular spice and it just wasn't enough for me.

Service was excellent overall and I would come back to try out more of the menu and the patio they seem to have open in the summer. :)

Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian friendly options and vegan friendly options.

I've really enjoyed dinner here twice recently. I had the party jollof both times and some other dishes. The flavours are delicious and the staff are friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. I can't wait to try more of the menu!

Popped in with my partner and ordered the Jollof with Chicken and Egusi mains and Fried Plantains for a starter. The food was good with healthy portion sizes. Of the dishes, the Fried Plantains taste a little bit simple and the Egusi, while good, was not nearly as flavourful as the other dishes. However, the Jollof was tremendous. Rich with different spices and a combination of flavours, the chicken was mouth watering and the coleslaw that came with it really balanced the heat. If you come here, you are doing it wrong if you do not order the Jollof as it is impeccable and a dish you won’t be able to find anywhere else in Toronto.

The young woman serving was incredible, she was able to manage the entire restaurant - which was full - so easily, and made sure everyone’s wishes were being met. Super friendly, and was able to provide great recommendations.

It’s a cozy, vibrant restaurant that everyone should try to pop into if they’re in the Parkdale area.
