Located in the Corus building, the restaurant can be accessed directly from the back facing the lake. The dome dining experience includes heaters and a choice of seating. The food, like butternut squash soup and seared tuna, was flavorful, although the churros were a bit hard. The restaurant also offers indoor dining, with generous servings and a great Winterlicious menu. Despite some setbacks with broken igloos, the staff was accommodating, offering a free cocktail as a gesture. The attentive server, who also managed the bar area, contributed to a positive dining experience. Payment is upfront with a 20% gratuity included, which is justified by the servers' efforts in navigating between the restaurant and the patio. Overall, Against the Grain offers a unique dining experience with good food and cocktails, although it may be a bit pricey.
