The food and the wait time were good although the fried chicken we bought had 2 pieces of plastic in one piece of chicken

Food and service were excellent. I got the Spicy Butan Don and it was delicious, good amount of spice, well flavoured and sizeable portion. If you're looking for korean food on the go, great spot to visit.

A nice little spot just barely off the corner of Bloor and Bathurst. They offer fairly portioned and priced donburi options with a cute vibe inside the store. The wall of sticky notes made for an entertaining view while enjoying my salmon donburi.

Disappointed Takeout Experience – Stale Chicken & Overpriced
We ordered two Chicken Teriyaki Don bowls for takeout from this restaurant close to their closing time. When we got home and opened our food, we were shocked to find that the chicken was stale, had a bad smell, and was clearly not fresh. It tasted off and was completely inedible. We also saw the cook microwaving the chicken before packing it — which already raised red flags.
Just because it’s close to closing doesn’t mean you serve reheated, low-quality food and still charge over $38 for it. That’s unacceptable. We were really looking forward to a good meal but ended up throwing it away.
This experience was disappointing and definitely not worth the price. Won’t be coming back unless quality improves significantly.
However, the service was really nice.

Cute little spot in the annex! Love their salmon don, the size was pretty generous and the bowl itself was delicious. Salmon was fresh.
Will come back and try other things on the menu :)

excellent Salmon Don! 🐠 one of my fav restaurants in the Annex.
My only criticism is that I wish they would use reusable dishes when you dine in instead of disposable ones.

Had the salmon donburi last night and the food was very good, it tasted great.
Rice was seasoned, salmon tasted smooth in your mouth, miso soup was great too.
