Waited for a long time to get my thing and decided this place max 3 stars. Nope. Nope. It was the best tempura ever. The portion was freaking massive. The ebi was each the size of 3 normal shrimp. The oyster was so big and juicy I didn’t know they existed. First time having fried oysters and it was amazing. The potato salad : amazing, the chashu soup: amazing, the sauces and salts: amazing, beansprouts: amazing… there is a theme here :3
Will defo be back. For so many things the price is justifiable and my stomach left happy and full.

Absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the Asakusa bowl. The variety is nice and the portion sizes were bigger than I expected too. Definitely would recommend!

Mmmm yes the fried broccoli tempura acts like a piece of paper towel soaking up all the grease.

Tempura overall is good. Particularly like the variety in seafood items. The oyster in particular is quite nice. Ordered an udon tempura combo. The udon was quite disappointing. Unlike the tangibly fresh ramen from Konjiki, the udon seemed to be from frozen and had ?freezer burn on it. The broth was dilute. I suppose it is a tendon stop and not an udon stop so perhaps this is not too unexpected.

Overall service was good and pleasant. Atmosphere is great.

Would come back for a fixing of tempura, spare me the udon!

Considering the level of restaurants in this area, 5 stars is probably appropriate, but please excuse my harsh comment.
Overall, the noodles felt a little overcooked and the texture was not good. The flavor of the signature soy sauce ramen soup was good, but the "tonkotsu" ramen wasn't tonkotsu at all. I can understand the idea of local optimization, but I feel like it's a different product with just the color being finished in the style of tonkotsu ramen, and the main flavor is dairy products, soy milk, or miso. I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but I have no proof, but at least it doesn't taste like pork bones at all. It's not bad for a mysterious type of ramen, but as someone who wanted to eat tonkotsu ramen, it felt like a tonkotsu ramen.
The takoyaki was delicious, and the tempura rice bowl looked good, so I'll try that next time.

Prob my first and last time here. Food is just average imo, their unagi bowl was not worth the price at all lmao. Service was okay, nothing special.

For a place that specializes in tempura, there was nothing truly exceptional about their tempura. Got the asakusa set, which was tempura shrimp, tempura seafood, tempura veggies, and I got the cold udon.
- My favourite was the tempura eel: unique, nicely chewy, and the tempura batter paired well with the fatty taste of the eel.
- The rest were meh: tempura fry and flavour weren't exceptional, and the coating was a bit thick.
- The udon wasn't good as it was really really bland.

Kitchen was a bit slow. Service was pleasant. Space is narrow but doesn't feel tight. Prices are what prices are these days. A meh experience for me.

Felt very sick after eating here :( I suspect it was a piece of fish that was poorly cooked.

One of the Japanese female servers appeared to be extremely biased. She only served water to the European guests sitting next to our table, even though both of us had empty cups. Additionally, despite our table ordering the same items before the one beside us, they received their food 10 minutes earlier, causing us to wait for 18 minutes.
The food was excellent, but I recommend improving the environment and hiring servers who are unbiased and respectful.

Tempura was amazing. Def the best I've had. Light and crunchy and paired really well with the tendon sauce. Really like this place. Will be back when I'm back in town. Miso soup was pretty good too.

I expected a bit more from a place that specializes in tempura. It was just ordinary, okay food, nothing special. Udon broth was quite bland, and food took very long to come out.

The place is nice however the tempura was very average. Nothing special especially if the selling point is tempura. The price is also far above the average taste ($13 for 3 sized tempura). The tempura batter is fluffy but definitely not worth the price.

Returned to taste their tempura after having a great ramen dining experience last week
Ordered the 5 pc seafood tempura plate and the 5 pc veggies tempura. Both very fine deep fried, it gives you different taste than any other Japanese restaurants in town. Food was more delicate
Also great was the desserts, the tea flavor brownies are must get items
Again, the only issue is rather a small portion for the price, to be totally fair but the quality is top notch.

Cute little place that serves very delicious tempura! I especially enjoy the fish roe tempura and the Asakusa tempura set in general. I also recommend their apple sour on a hot summer day!
