Signature dishes like the Yellowtail Serrano, Crispy Rice Tuna, Salmon with truffle-infused potato puree (feels like a warm hug), and protein sushi are creative and packed with flavor, while the Miso Black Cod is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Booked my gf and I a reservation for 11pm (last time slot available) thinking we would be able to go out for a relaxing, late dinner. Turns out last call for the kitchen is also 11, which was not mentioned to us at the time of booking. Staff proceeded to rush us to put our order through, making it a stressful and unpleasant experience. We were not given enough time to properly look through the menu - ended up ordering whatever caught our attention and were not allowed to put through a second order. The food and drinks were fantastic however, portions were small so we left still feeling hungry.

On Blue Jays Way Price wise is right, but the value of what we are was not what we expected. Spent $220 on 5 items - we were still hungry. No drinks either The Hokkaido Scallop cold share had great potential, but the acidity of the Yuzu dressing overpowered the dish. The Sushi 6 piece presented great, the amount of rice great, flavor of rice great. fresh Wasabi too awesome. The rock Shrimp dish was mild flavoured. It was honestly a bit sour and not spicy when it looked like it would taste spicy and sweet. The best overall dish was the Wagyu beef Sushi pieces. Pricy but good. Ambience was - cool. Service was good. We were able to be done in an hour and out of there.
Got the chef box it was ok? Vibes and venue I loved our server was amazing. Food was ok, next time I'll order something off the menu overall it's a nice place for a bday dinner, celebration or gathering with friends! Ohh Also the drinks 10/10!

We dined at Akira Back Toronto last night, and it truly lived up to the great reviews and word of mouth. The atmosphere was refined, and the food was outstanding — beautifully presented and full of flavour. Our hostess, Raay, was wonderful — efficient, friendly, and spot-on with her recommendations. She made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The only small downside was that the portion sizes for some of the shareable dishes weren't quite even for our group of four, which made it a bit tricky to divide everything fairly. Otherwise, it was a fantastic evening, and we'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.
