The service at Alder is outstanding, and the food is truly exceptional. We opted for the chef’s choice tasting menu and were so glad we did—it was the perfect way to sample a wide range of dishes while dining with a group of friends, and at great value. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. We loved the entire experience and will absolutely be back!
Alder is always a 5/5 for me. We’ve been going here for the last 3 years for our now traditional Christmas dinner.

I shared a meal with my husband and it was great to try most things on the menu. Caesar salad, burrata, sea bream (a MUST! Crispy skin, soft fish, great flavour), mash potatoes and some bread was so good!

I was lucky to visit Alder on Christmas. We arrived early, had a whisky at the upstairs bar, and then headed downstairs to be seated. Andy walked us through the menu and checked on us throughout the meal, making the experience very comfortable. The food was fantastic, especially the beef carpaccio, which was perfect for my taste. I’d definitely love to come back again.
