Went for Christmas pop up. Vibe and decor were great but the food wasn’t too special

From the moment we arrived, Aleria impressed. The team was accommodating and seated us promptly even though part of our party was delayed. The dining room has a warm, atmosphere perfect for a girls’ night or date night. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-presented — the calamari stood out as a highlight: perfectly crispy. Our group had a great time and will be back.

We went during the holiday pop-up for a girl’s dinner. It was bad weather so there were transit and traffic delays. My friends were running a little late and the staff pressured me into ordering food saying that table time is limited and we won’t have food on the table if I didn’t order in first 10 minutes of arrival. The staff is really obnoxious and exchanges looks. The manager was especially rude and pushed the server to pressurise us into ordering food when my friends arrived. We were just discussing what to order and if we should at all as they gave us a 30 minute warning. And the server automatically took the order for what we were discussing without us really confirming. They also gave us looks when we didn’t order drinks. The portion size is also small. I really loved the calamari and would go back for it, if it wasn’t the horrible way the staff treats its customers. I have been to other busier places while waiting for friends and they were nothing but accommodating but same can’t be said for Aleria.

Solid 3/5.
The christmas popup was great but you have to literally pre book months in advance and it’s very busy/ chaotic.
The service was really slow and seemed to be to push through as many people as possible which is never a nice feeling.

Amazing service, and gorgeous scenery. Picked this place to ask my girlfriend out and I have to say it was an excellent experience.

Went for a birthday dinner but as it was valentines day they had a set menu. The server was unaware that it was only a set menu. When ordering we inquired twice whether the food contained any nuts or citrus due to severe allergies. The server also asked again if there were any allergies, which he was told. We were advised that only 2 options for the main meal were available from the set menu as they had run out by 8pm. Despite the time limit for the tables the time between each course took a while. By the time the main meal came it was close to the end of our "alloted" time. We again inquired whether the meal contained any citrus and was then advised all the accompaniments contained citrus and initially they advised they would modify the meal and then they advised we could not be accommodated. 1 party left without eating a meal. We appreciate that they did not charge for the party that did not get to eat however the service as a whole could have been much better. The vibe of the restaurant was great but it was a rather disappointing end to the evening.

Thanks for canceling our valentines day reservation with ZERO reasoning and then not picking up your phone so we can ask why. Good customer experience would to call your customers to inform them of any changes causing you to cancel a reservation on short notice.

Came here for the Christmas bar and it was very pretty. I loved the lights and all the decor but the cocktails themself were pretty mid. The pricing was a tad above average but the drinks lacked creativity. I thought they’d be more complex cocktails but it’s also a temporary Christmas event so not too surprised either.

If you’re going to go next year reservations are a must and they really pack in the tables so be prepared for a lack of space between tables etc.

The food, drinks and atmosphere are lovely. The Christmas Mule drink was one of the prettiest drinks with fresh rosemary, star anise and cranberry

Sean, the amazing staff member that took care of us, was very helpful for my gluten intolerance and provided the best service I've experienced
