Shawarma Ali Baba's - Bloor West Village

I just had to leave a review for their Veggie Sandwich, which I just ordered on DoorDash ... now, veggie sandwich is easy to eff-up and make crap, but not easy to get on a higher level, but this Ali Baba nailed it!
... simply: everything was fresh, super tasty, garlic sauce is galactic, massive stuffed portion, well deserved 5/5 ! thanks!

PS - if you look at the negative reviews, you will see they are almost all 1st time reviews, so, what does that tell you? [fake]

As someone who’s a shawarma's lover I can definitely say that this location of Ali Babas served the best shawarma I had ever tasted. Not only was their food excellent but the customer service was amazing! This place has now become my go to place and every time I eat from them the food always delivers the same rich quality.

Food was great. Got the Monday shawarma deal for 2. While talking to the owner he gave us some lentil soup. Wow! It was fantastic. Reminded me of how my mom used to make it. I highly recommend it if you go here.

We ordered for 8 people at home. We will 100% order for a large group again. They put everything into the most beautiful family sharing platter. Everything was fresh, beautiful and delicious. Extra sauces, hummus, garlic, tahini, taboule and pickled turnips. They made our evening. So thankful they are in the neighbourhood.

I tried the chicken shawarma here, and it was amazing! The portion was huge, super filling, and so flavorful. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. Definitely one of the best shawarmas I’ve had. Great value for the price too! Highly recommend!
