I had an amazing first experience at Alcoe Place in Parliament! I was with my man and couple of my co-worker. The vibe was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. Alice Place is hands down the best spot for karaoke. Pablito, the DJ, was fantasticāsuch a fun and talented guy with an incredible voice. I had an absolute blast! Plus, their fries and chicken wings are absolutely delicious!

I'll say the quiet part out loud: It's a local dive bar. There's FOUR fried food options: Wings, chicken fingers, fish, all with fries, and Coconut Shrimp. The $17 wings came dry with no veggies, or any type of sauce (on the side or on top). Don't expect a cocktail menu. All that said, you come here to do Friday Karaoke or just to have a few cheap, non-fancy drinks with friends and friendly staff. If you come during 'non-Karaoke hours', expect a few regulars.

I'd come back with friends, but not alone again. My advice: Don't fraternitize with the some of the regulars cause some 'em are full-on nutcases. The crowd reminded me a lot of the bar from Shameless.
There's an air of passive-aggressiveness in this place. It's weird and hard to put your finger on, but it's there.
I think as long as you stick together, you can have fun.

Needed to wait on my laundry nearby and was craving a beer. The bartender was super friendly and I enjoyed a nice beer on the patio.
Amazing place! The atmosphere was small and cozy, the people were welcoming and friendly, and the owner was also great. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. Karaoke night was a joy to watch, so many good singers. Will be coming back here!

Stumbled upon Aliceās place for the Karaoke and were welcomed by a familiar cast of regulars that didnāt hesitate to make us one of their own. We stayed way longer than expected and walked out feeling like we were leaving a house party at a lifelong friendās place. The bar itself is small but their amazing staff never leave you thirsty. We picked this spot because it was close by but I would gladly travel far to enjoy another night at Aliceās place
