Hands down the best beef patty I’ve had in a while. The pastry was super fluffy, and the filling was really tasty – warm, flavorful, and just hit the spot. Definitely coming back for more!
Bought a box of warm curry goat patties. Unfortunately the quality assurance wasn't great. Some patties were great while 5 of the patties in the box literally had no meat and also had more crust re: pocket where meat would have been vs parts outside of that. I like Allen's but this was disappointing. Tbis is why I gave a 3 star. 1 star would be too low for a place I like...but need to make sure.all patties need meat....
This is an update to the review that I posted 6 months ago. I went to the Allen’s Patty location on Kennedy Road on Dec 6th to pick up my order of a dozen plantain tarts, that I had ordered a week before. I was worried that they wouldn’t be ready since I had ordered them a week before. I called the store just before driving over to pick up my order, and it was ready, like Johnny on the spot.
