Hard to compare as my other jamaican patty memories are tainted by nostalgia, but Allwyn's is up there. It'll continue making its way up over the next couple years as the nostalgia buff takes effect.

This place will serve you a jerk chicken in less than 30 seconds, so it is convenient on the go if you have no standards. Portions are decent but reheated the rice has like a beefaroni/dog food taste. Hard pass. Their jerk sandwich is actually pretty good but overpriced.

Beef patty (spicy) was fantastic. The shell was flakey, slightly buttery and had a nice chew. Meat was flavourful and had a bit of spice to it.Portion size for the goat was very generous, to the point of overflowing the container. The goat is cooked really well and breaks apart without chewing. I personally would have liked some more spice to it. Coleslaw was slightly heavy on the mayo.Food travels pretty well so don’t worry about much of a drop in quality for takeout.
Ordered through Uber and it came very quick and was packaged safely. I appreciate how the spicy beef patty was carefully packaged to preserve heat. It was also very yummy, flaky and well seasoned. I ordered the curry goat and it was well portioned and affordable, not to mention very tasty, the meat fell off the bone and it reminded me of my Mamas Bengali cooking which made me emotional. Will definitely try again!

Delicious as always from Uber Eats Delivery, but I have to deduct 1 point for the BONELESS Chicken have a giant chunk of Cartiledge and worse a GIANT chunk of bone that I almost broke my tooth on.If you are going to list an item as boneless, it should really be boneless.Tasty as always anyways!

I ordered Allwyn's for the first time on Uber Eats and was more than pleasantly surprised by the delicious jerk chicken and rice. I have been eating jerk chicken all my life and Allwyn's stands out. Would recommend to anyone looking for some good jerk chicken downtown.

I went into Allwyn's today as I have in the past to get their amazingly tasty food. Ahead of me, the dude ordered something and then after they prepared the order, decided he didn't want that and ordered something completely different. The female staff game him his updated order, but the customer decided to condescendingly say "don't me mad ... I'm the customer" and started to dance around annoyingly to show off. As the person at the counter started taking my order, the customer decided to interrupt us and ask if we were talking about him. It was really insulting.At *all* times, the staff were more professional and courteous to this customer than he deserved. The staff involved should be rewarding for putting up with such behavior, and I hope the owner reads this and knows they have great employees.Also, the ox-tail lunch I had was excellent, as is the jerk-chicken I have had in the past. One of the best take-out places in the area, and one of the best jerk places in Toronto. There is limited seating here, so be aware you will probably have to take this back to the office or home (it's the only reason why I gave a low mark in atmosphere). Highly recommended.
