Second visit to this "pop-up". Quality is consistent, and it's always nice to have a place that serves brunch that is not the usual fare. The sorrowful rice is a Chinese BBQ pork paired with rice, veggies, and a fried egg, a la the Stephen Chow film, but is actually good and not gimmicky. The sandwich is also delicious with quality ingredients. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.

I loved this special Chicken Parmesan Sando. A lightly toasted brioche bun is slathered with a tangy mayo, and clearly it's trying its best to encompass the giant slab of chicken, smashed thin for tenderness and breaded with a fragrant breadcrumb crust that both provides a satisfying crisp/crunch on the edges while soaking up the tomato sauce and cheese. It's a nice brunch spot but it wasn't a very smooth experience from a service perspective. The food was very good, but not great, and because it's a pop up I worry that they won't have enough time to really refine things to make this place as good as it could be.
