A fantastic Lebanese restaurant in Toronto, possibly one of the best. The Rakakat Truffle dish is a unique and delicious creation that stands out. The kabab meat is very good, although not the absolute best. It's recommended to make a reservation as the restaurant tends to be packed.

We love coming here every time. The pomegranate hummus is the best hummus in the city hands down. Amazing service. I kept finishing my glass of water and not once did I have to ask for more water, they would just come and fill it up themselves. Even the prices for what you get is completely worth it. Keep it up Amal. We'll be back.

Overall very enjoyable! That being said I felt the service staff to be a bit intrusive. We had 3 different staff coming to our table multiple times and at times asking the same questions and interrupting our conversation.

Ordered a dip platter and came with so little pita, had to order more and still had tons of dip left over. Asked if we wanted water and then was charged $9 for flat bottle of water. Ordered a turkish coffee and they didn't ask how we wanted sweetened.
I was taken to Amal to celebrate my birthday, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The food was just amazing! The cocktails were delicious and imaginative. We ordered the dip sampler plate to start and a meat skewer platter for our main. The dips were flavourful and pita perfect. The beef tenderloin was fork tender and perfectly cooked. The chicken was juicy, the lamb/beef kabob was too. The sauces with the meat were great, one cooling and the other adding a bit of heat. The accompanying rice was fluffy and flavourful, the grilled vegetables soft and sweet. The portions were very big and too much for only two people, so we ended up with almost much food to bring home, beautifully packed by the restaurant staff. It wasn't just great food and drink. The restaurant decor is spectacular. But it was the service that blew us away. Friendly, accommodating (we were late due to car trouble), funny, knowledgeable, attentive to our every need. On arrival we mentioned that we were attending a concert at the front service desk and even though the restaurant was full, one gentleman said we should enjoy the concert when we left. I'll be going back to Amal in the future. Our first experience couldn't have been better.

Wow! Food was excellent, portioned well, great presentation. Worth every penny. Flavor was on point. Service was great. Atmosphere and design beautiful, light, and airy. I will definitely return and will continue to do so for as long as they exist! Wonderful.

Great food service and atmosphere.Visited Amal for the first time and was super impressed. Beautiful restaurant, with amazing food and extremely knowledgeable and tentative staff.We tried most of the appetizers. The dips are a must! Very tasty salads and for main we did falafels, the meat platter, and the squid.Absolutely everything was on point. Would highly recommend going but make sure you have a reservation, they do take walk-ins but be prepared to sit at the bar if you do.They also have a nice selection of cocktails and mocktails.
