The restaurant was quiet, the atmosphere pleasant, and the service lovely. But....while the food was tastily spiced and presented, the meat was a disappointment. The chicken breast in the saag dish was dry; and the lamb in my friend's dish, stringy and chewy. Perhaps it is stewing lamb that the restaurant uses, rather than a more tender cut. We have had Indian food many times elsewhere in Toronto, and I've travelled to India twice, so we are knowledgeable. We won't go back. Too bad, because the the samosas were delicious, the service lovely, and the portions generous. But the quality of the meat in a restaurant entree trumps its spicing, its sauces, and the waitress's sweet smile!

What I ate was not an authentic Indian preparation, sadly.

Good indian food (I usually try an indian restaurant in most cities I visit) with excellent service. Prices are reasonable as well. I've eaten here at least 4 or 5 times and it's consistently good.
It is a nice and quiet place to have Indian food. The food is tasty at a reasonable price. The place is good for a family and service is prompt.

Her friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out, and she added a personal touch that made our meal all the more enjoyable. Great location. The service was friendly and helpful. The presentation of dishes was beautiful. But to be honest, we didn't enjoy much of the food. Samosas and pakoras were dry, the lamb was tough, and the cool yoghurt sauce had hot sauce mixed in. The ingredients did not seem of high quality. The prices are reasonable, but we'd rather pay a little more for better ingredients and skilled prep.
