The Amsterdam Brewhouse is located along the Lake Ontario Waterfront at Queen's Quay West. They have a large indoor and outdoor seating area and are open from 11am to late (weekdays) and 10am to late (weekends). Menu features the Amsterdam Brewery label draught beers along with a fairly typical bar food menu. We visited recently during a warm weekend afternoon and were able to be seated immediately. Blonde Lager tasted just fine, artichoke dip was pretty good as well. Prices are a bit high but we found food and drink quality to be fair enough, food portion sizes are good. Venue is quite fun and views of the lake are great. Amsterdam Brewhouse is a fun place, we'd be happy to pop in again during future walks along the waterfront.

we have ate here many times so we were super excited to celebrate our honeymoon there . Taylor the eatress was amazing and everyone's meal but mine was good .got the spicy beef bowl and it was horrible. when mentioned there was no sprouts carrot salad etc was told it was usual toppings. had no flavor and very little beef.

My husband and I came back to TO to visit after moving away for the past 10 years. Amsterdam was one of our favorite places and we were terribly disappointed with the service we received. Apart from the fact our server took a long time she was very forgetful and missed getting us our round of beers. As for the food and drinks they were only sub par at best. Boneshaker is my husband's favourite beer and something was definitely off with it as it tasted more like a pilsner than a delicious IPA. I hope this was just an off day but it was enough that we won't be returning.

We enjoyed our dinner at Amsterdam Brewhouse. We ordered some appetizers which arrived after the mains but had to be sent back. They didn't charge us for it. Its a busy restaurant right in front of the lake. I made reservations else there is a line up. The classic pizza was good as well as the beer.

Less than hall of the restaurant was open on a Summer Friday afternoon. Hostesses stared at their iPads and NEVER even spoke to us. We waited in line 30 minutes for a table and once seated we waited 10 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. Tables were left unbussed for almost an hour and only a few the staff hustled. The management did nothing to make it better. This place could generate so much money, and is a mess. Avoid this overpriced disaster.

The view of Lake Ontario was outstanding and the food and drinks were just as good. Our server Jose was very kind and brought the whole restaurant’s vibes up.

Food and views were great, but the best part was the service. Jose was awesome.

Too long to get seated even though it’s an empty restaurant

Hands down this was a super experience. This waterfront brewery restaurant checked all the boxes. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food and beverages were very delicious, and the service was fantastic. A big SHOUT OUT to our server, Michael B. He was spot on with his service, suggestions for meal & drink choices, and made our experience the best. Thank you Amsterdam Brewhouse & Michael B

Tried this restaurant on the Harbourfront after hearing some good things. Extremely disappointed.

Ordered the Brisket Sandwich with Fries and the Adventure flight. The flight doesn’t come in a tray/board like other brew pubs. Instead they place four glasses on a placemat with the types of beer written on it, which is fine but it was very awkward to deal with on the table. The beer was also not that cold? Felt like it had been out a while before they served it. Beer was okay, nothing interesting - might have tasted better if it were nice and cold. The sandwich was awful. The BBQ sauce was good but brisket was dry and the ciabatta bun was hard as a rock. Really skimpy on the coleslaw too. Fries were comparable to, but worse than McDonalds. Cauliflower bites were tough.

Two Stars because the server was really nice but besides everything else, one star would be it. Much Better places to eat in Toronto.

2ieme fois, c'est un bel endroit si vous chercher une place pour de la bonne bière et bouffe près de l'eau.

The beer is great, good choice. Great food also. Awesome views. I must mention our server, a helpful young lady Keta, friendly and professional. When back in Toronto, this place will be on the top of my list. Definitely five star.

I had the fish and chips. The prize for the worst fries goes to…

My date got a stale bun which was virtually inedible. Server wasn't super attentive and tried to strike up a conversation at the end of the meal when she recognized she hadn't checked in with us throughout the meal. Restaurant gives VPR vibes - employees hanging around, not super committed to the craft of cuisine and service to be honest.

We had reservations at 5pm on a Sunday. Good thing we did as there was a Blue Jays' game or we would have waited at least an hour to be seated. I ordered the southwest chicken bowl which was very delicious. Good thing it was a good portion and could share it with my bf. He ordered the Smokehouse burger-which we were told to get-but it did not live up to our expectations. The giant onion ring was giant and broke into pieces which made it difficult to hold the burger. He had to use utensils, which wasn't too big of a deal. However the patty was dry, over cooked. It felt like it had been cooked for a while. It was so busy that we didn't see our server for a while. My bf was so hungry that he ate it anyway. We left disappointed. We did appreciate the beer.
