We had another great experience at the ABR. Love visiting Toronto and love the welcome and food at the ABR. Our server John was fabulous. Very attentive and explained all options to us and helped us to decide on what to eat. A great experience
The service experience was terrible, especially for a night thay wasn't busy. I waited almost 30 minutes for a drink, but the server was surprisingly quick when it came to getting the bill.
Went there as a group of 5 for a birthday and our experience wasn’t nice. Definitely not going here again! The service was subpar. Had to ask and remind our server thrice for water, which is annoyingly stupid because flagging downn a staff member was a task in itself.
The prices of their food items are crazy! $19 was 5-6 pieces of buffalo cauliflower ???To serve that quality for the artichoke spinach dip should be criminal !!
And same for everything else on their menu.
Wasn’t happy at all.

A really nice bar, despite the massive size it still feels cozy.
Service was fast and friendly. They have a really big menu and I didn't have the chance to try much but what I had was great (get the Brisket Mac and Cheese!)
The selection of beers is limited but I would say well selected. Soft drinks come from a drinks gun and unfortunately my diet coke tasted like chlorine. All in all a place I would recommend even if they could make some slight improvements

Food was good, atmosphere and service was great. But, $21 for SIX chicken wings is mental.

We ate schnitzel two days ago and I think we're experiencing food poisoning. I paid $90 for two Cokes, one pizza, and one schnitzel, including the tip. It was an absolutely disgusting and terrible experience. The location and view are great, and they have great beers, but the food is really awful.
This is one my favorite restaurants in the city, the food has always been good (especially the yam fries), and I know the drinks are a hit. I really like the ambience and the vibes, and the location right on the water is great. I was rather shocked that my meal for 2 was as expensive as it was, so I think it's definitely pricier than expected. Prices are comparable to what I've spent at much higher end restaurants.
I’m honestly frustrated. If you’re going to charge over $20 for a meal, the portion size needs to reflect that. $20.99 for six wings with two celery sticks and two carrot sticks is unacceptable. $23.60 for a sandwich with barely any beans and almost no salad is just as bad.
I understand prices go up, but charging premium prices while serving minimal portions feels like a rip-off. If you want people to pay more, give them more food. It’s that simple.

We had a reservation .. arrived on time. Seated the same time as another couple. The waiter went right to their table.. spend a long time chatting, they got their drink and still he stool and chatted to them. We waited over 20 minutes for John to come to our table. Service was terrible. The food was excellent We sat by the fireplace under speaker and we could barely talk to each other. I asked John our waiter to turn dien the music a bit. It was turned down for a few minutes then it went extremely loud. It was so hard to talk in our group of 4. Was disappointed in the service. We are from out of town and we were eager to show our friends this amazing place. Not impressed.

Kitchen was slow. But food was delicious when it arrived. Music was loud for normal conversation. Not a lot of checkins and chasing the waitress for the bill was slow.
Took my cousin from Oregon for famous BBQ, and turned out total disaster.
We ordered beers and the BBQ tower. Unfortunately, only the brisket was good. The wings were dry and had an unpleasant smell, and the ribs were cold with an off, old-bone odor.
Giving 2 stars solely for the good service. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the food quality.
Marcus was a top level server. Our table, inside, was right near the window overlooking the patio and lake. We had a reso and our table was available right on time. Food and drinks came quick, and Marcus understood our vibe, very impressive.

Visited with a group of friends. Toward the end of our meal, multiple people at our table saw a mouse inside the restaurant. We notified staff, but nothing appeared to be done at the time.
This was disappointing, especially given that this is otherwise considered a well-established and reputable restaurant. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it promptly.

I absolutely loved the service. We sat on the patio and our server was super kind and helpful. The food was very mid. I was very disappointed with the food we all got. The view is nice and lots of beer options. Come here if you are looking for a lake view and a beer but don’t expect a good meal.
