First time here, great vibe for a fun afternoon with friends for some tacos and drinks. Ordered three apps and almost every type of taco, everything tasted great and came out quickly. Only complaint was the state of the women's washroom - it was 6:30pm on a Sunday and somehow the floor was a mess, one stall door didn't lock at all, and the sinks are pressurized in a way that sprays water all over. SUPER cute place otherwise!

Our experience at Anejo was one that we will never forget. Our service with Adam was very efficient, friendly, and made it very memorable. Service was amazing and would def come back with my friends again!

Great staff! This message is for the customers. If you don’t leave at least a 20% tip. Your server is paying for you. Because your server has to tip out the bus boys, the kitchen, the hosts, the bartenders. And the food runners. So if you don’t leave a tip. Your server is actually paying out of their pocket for you. So for goodness sake! Leave a good tip! Or don’t go out.

This place usually has a waitlist. Every time we go on a Friday or Sat, theres at least 30min wait. The atmosphere is great. Lots of people on a night out attire. Our server is great. The food tho is inconsistent. Some days the tacos r great but some days they r dry. Love their hot mayo sauce and the guac. I tried the duck tacos but wasnt my fave. It wasnt as tender and I didnt like how I have to make it myself. Kinda messy. I would say go later because they have promos on the drink and tacos. Would come back here

Tacos are AMAZING!! Very loud music, but still able to have conversation. However, a bit hard to get the server's attention!

We enjoyed our evening...service started off great albeit slow to receive drinks and food...but server was waiting to end her shift and we could feel the lack of concern. Food was flavourable and enjoyable.

Añejo always offers a great dining experience. It was our first time at this location, and we loved the ambience. The staff was amazing! The only downside is that I had noted in the reservation that it was my wife's birthday, but unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment, not even a “happy birthday.” Other than that, we had a great time!

Popped in on a whim on a Monday night and caught the late night happy hour. I didn’t check reviews beforehand and I wish I had.
Tacos were super bland and dry, no real flavour. Not sure if it was just because it was later in the evening. Tried the fish, carnitas, beef, and chicken.
The summer ceviche was delicious though. I’d get that again in a heartbeat.
The AC was blasting so it was uncomfortable to sit inside. The staff were lovely and very accommodating.
Overall, only worth it during happy hour.

I want to start out and say I wanted to love this place. The vibe was amazing, the atmosphere was great. Great music, place was about 70% full and vibrant, and everyone was having a great time. Had a 7:30 reservation on a Saturday night (for 2). Waiter was friendly gave us time to review the menu as it was both of our first time. Placed our order 2 drinks, tableside guacamole, summer ceviche, 3 birria tacos, 3 chorizo tacos (it was a birthday we were celebrating). Before the drinks the tableside guacamole is brought, and they start making it. Immediately the drinks are brought with the ceviche. Then the small talk starts, my girlfriend is asked if she's Mexican, she's not she's from Colombia, and is Canadian. I'm not sure why that's the best small talk this person can muster. It's really awkward and the guacamole is bland, I had to ask for salt (I never add anything when dining out generally). While he's still making the guacamole the tacos come. We have everything we ordered within 10 minutes of ordering, there is no pacing to this meal at all. The ceviche was ok. Beets in a ceviche was a little odd, especially considering to beets overpowered the subtle flavours of the fish and shrimp. The chorizo tacos were bland and lacked any flavour. The birria tacos were good and I would recommend them if you visit. We had the free churros and despite them being free, they were undercooked. What was the most disappointing part of the night was that I was celebrating a birthday, mentioned it in the reservation, and the entire meal lasted 70 minutes. We had paid for the dinner by 8:40 pm. The pacing, again, was horrible. I understand that they want to turn over tables quickly on a Saturday night but that was ridiculous. I wanted to love this place but I can't recommend it based on how it's currently being run. The great news is that they only have to make a few tweeks and this place could be great! Unfortunately won't be returning.

I had to ask three times for water for my dog. It took over 30 min just to get his water. There were no cutlery given with food and had to ask for it repeatedly. Our server was friendly but it wasn't a great experience at all.

Sat outside with a group of 6. Food and drinks were great but the service was very slow. It was hard to find our server.
