We were there for Happy Hour was busy but booked ahead. The margaritas were the best habanero - tajin rim the Ginger was the best and coming in second Cucumber and yes taste best with cilantro. The crispy fish tacos had to go for seconds can't beat this spot.

The atmosphere was wonderful, however, the food was less than average. We are used to traditional Mexican food and the seasonings were definitely off. The place has tremendous potential if the food quality was improved. The place was full and needed a reservation to get in - so maybe expectations in Toronto are different from what we're used to in the States.

Great service, knowledgeable staff, good food, lively atmosphere. I recommend the table side guacamole.

We went because they have a great Happy hour for drinks. Tacos are ok. Service is excellent.

Service was lacklustre - we felt a bit ignored and as a result our table ended up only having one drink each as we weren't really able to get an order in (they weren't busy), tacos were fine but not amazing (crispy fish and beef), table side guac was ordered but there was no pride in its creation. What was once a fun place was rather boring.

While the food was very good, the service was left wanting. We never got our silverware and had to ask for plates for our shareable.

Good food but the service was a little slow. Pricing is good for Toronto and the ambiance is nice

We usually go to don mills location, and it's a much better experience, In terms of service and atmosphere. The king street locations service was very poor. At one point we had to wait almost an hour for just a refill on coke. My boyfriend ended up getting up himself and walking to the bar to get the refill because it took so long. Our server seemed miserable and not friendly at all. On the other hand, the location at don mills service is always pleasant. Also it was way too loud at the king street location, to the point where you can't even have a conversation with the people at your table. We wouldn't go back to the king street location unfortunately. It was such a bad experience, If that was my only Anejo experience I wouldn't go back.

Beautiful establishment, the food and drinks were excellent and at a reasonable price! The staff was very generous, gave us some complimentary drinks when they learned it was our wedding anniversary. Definitely will be back!!

Anejo on King used to be the best for tacos. I'd gone a few times during happy hour and thought maybe the quality dropped because of the rush. This time I went at prime dining time and couldn't finish my food. It was bland and dry. Guacamole and Margaritas are still fantastic and our server was wonderful. I personally would only return for a drink.

Excellent tacos and margaritas! Guacamole made table side fantastic. Fantastic service by Graham and Usra sorry if spelling of names is incorrect no name tags. Wait for inside dinning but the weather was good so we sat on the patio!

Has to be one of the worst experiences i’ve ever had in a while, none of the servers speak english and messed up my whole order.
Only come if you are on a budget

Decided to try this restaurant after hearing so many people rave about it, but I was disappointed. The chicken tacos didn’t taste good at all, and overall the food didn’t live up to the hype.

Truly one of the only spots on King St worth visiting! Amazing, quick service which is hard to find these days. Love this spot, so glad I tried it ⭐️
