4.5 stars. Archive is one of the most unpretentious wine bars in Toronto. Josh knows his stuff, and the wine list is comprehensive and constantly changing, with new wines almost every week. The food are small bitea like meats ans cheese that pair well with the wine. Don't expect a meal here, its all about the wine.

I can’t speak give a high enough review for this wine bar. First off they held a couple of spots for my wife and I on a Saturday night. The wine list is massive, and features bottles at many different prices. The wines by the glass are a great way to explore different wines. The food was amazing and the charcuterie is sliced right in front of you at the bar. The atmosphere is exactly what you would want in a wine bar, the service is the best in the city and they have incredible knowledge. The biggest problem is that we just discovered it and it’s only a short walk from our house so we will be coming back in a regular basis. Thanks for an amazing night !

We had some plans fall through during a bachelorette party for a group of 15 people when we were SAVED by Archive. They booked us tables on the same day, which I know is not an easy feat, for wine tasting. The tastings were so enjoyable and a great deal, the atmosphere was perfect and intimate. Apart from all of that what I was so impressed with was the service-- Joshua went through the trouble of splitting individual checks and even dividing up the bachelorette's portion to the individual checks even without being asked! I am SO impressed with the service and how smooth Archive made this for us. I am forever grateful for such thoughtfulness and would HIGHLY recommend Archive.

Casual & unpretentious place to learn about wine. If you’re looking to experiment, the blind wine flight is great and if you have the pleasure of being served by Adrian - even better. The food was a pleasant surprise, don’t miss the cured trout. Thanks for a great first time here, we’ll be back soon.

Service, over the phone, was great (I believe the man I spoke to was Josh). I ordered a charcuterie board for 10 people that I was supposed to pick up, my partner end up picking it up. When he brought it home to me I was surprised it was such a little amount of food for the price that was paid. I understand it is not a meal but the amount I received could have gotten most people one piece of meat or cheese.. the food was delicious but not enough. I was a little upset about the amount I received for the price but I would try to go inside the restaurant as the food we received was delectable. Maybe the price depends entirely on the price of the products.

A perfect wine bar. Great space, hospitality (!) and (most importantly) wine. Stuff like the Soiree de Gamay, Sunday Funday wines and the annual anniversary celebrations are really fun, but the day-to-day wine list and BTG would be enough to earn it five stars IMO.

Do you like tables that are not quite a rectangle, but not quite a triangle. Archive has one. It's even in a cozy cubby, surrounded by the exterior windows. But as quirky as that table is, you really want to go for the wine selection. Extensive might not exactly be the word for it. Tonnes of pours by the glass, and waaaay too many to imagine by the bottle. The food was perfect for the place. Man those arancini balls were killer! It's all picky shary and well paired for wine drinking, so be ready to sometimes fight over the last bite. Our server Roland was amazing, elevating the experience. He suggested wisely, and even as we were heading out, he said that he had a wine he'd like us to try, and put down a small pour of a unique wine that was right on point to what we like. This experience was great...and we will be back.Vegetarian options: Arancini balls, little gem salad, cheese boards.
