Edit: Unfortunately, there is new management and it doesn’t live up to what it used to be. The below review was from before they changed management. The food quality just isn’t there anymore and it makes me very sad. This is in my top 5 favourite food places in the city. The staff are super friendly, the food is great, they have options for everyone, and it’s just an overall great experience. I go there a ton. It’s one of the few places in the city that if it closed down, I’d cry inconsolably for weeks.

Got the Maki sushi and sashimi platter and it was pretty good! We appreciated the miso soup and salad that was included. The selection of rolls and sashimi was pretty good as well. In terms of fish quality, I would say it was pretty average. Not amazing but definitely still good tasting, although one of the sashimi (the torched one? not sure what fish) was SUPER tough and dry and chewy. Also, we are not gluten-free or vegan but it's really cool that this restaurant offers those options!Overall, enjoyed our meal! ?

This place used to be good. It used to be my favourite sushi in the city. Since end of last year or January 2024 it’s consistently downhill, consistently stale, and consistently lower quality ingredients. Something changed, and I don’t know what it is, and I’m sure management does know what changed, so please consider this message carefully and consider changing things back. I’ve ordered and ate at Aria 5 or 6 times since beginning of January and dozens of times before that. These last 5 or 6 times have been consistently terrible sushi. Like terrible, dry, no flavour, and not the quality I knew from Aria. I gave it a chance because I used to like the sushi here so much. But, since the last 6 times were consistently bad - I can’t see continuing to spend money here. I’ll delete this review if they can change it around because I’d really for them to correct this problem.

We shared a delicious meal here, and we were all very happy with the food and the service received. If you have any food sensitivities, they can answer your questions and let you know what is gluten-free, for example. I had a beef udon bowl and was surprised at how much they gave (a generous portion size). The green tea was perfect!

Every review says this place is exceptional, and I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news. While the staff is lovely, the food does not live up to the hype. I would say this takeout quality sushi, at best.To be specific, the fish wasn’t the greatest I found the tempura bits within the spicy tuna roll to be kind of hard. Overall, it just misses the mark.Mind you this is not bad sushi at the price it just definitely is not the greatest and most of the reviews pump it up a little bit too much. if you want reasonably price sushi that’s decent. This place is totally adequate but don’t think you’re getting some wild Vancouver/Japan level sushi with this high level of reviews.

As a celiac, I always order my sushi from here for delivery. Items are marked gluten free on doordash/ubereats and they have gf tempura shrimp that is made in a separate fryer.Dietary restrictions: Celiac

Just the best sushi. So fresh and delicious. I’m almost apprehensive to post this because the place is soooo good and I don’t want it to get crazy busy ?But it is so good that they deserve all the business they can get.

I'm celiac and so are they! They make so many options gluten free including tempura batter for the shrimp in the rolls (reserved fryer) and the crab meat! It was delicious and I got to try sushi rolls that I usually avoid at other sushi places. The table soy sauce was even gluten free. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're also gluten free but all my non-gluten free friends loved it too!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free available for usually not gluten free dishes
