I had a terrible experience at this place. They advertised a pint of beer as 16 ounces (473 mL) for $8.99, but served me a glass labeled 0.4 liters (400 mL), which is only 13.53 ounces. This means they shortchanged me by a significant amount. When I brought up this blatant discrepancy, the staff and management tried to convince me that this was the ‘new pint’ and insisted I was wrong. They argued with me for half an hour, forcing me to prove my point instead of letting me enjoy time with my family. To make matters worse, as I was leaving, they attempted to bribe me to silence my complaint. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope they’re held accountable for their fraudulent practices.

We ordered medium spicy food but the server gave us less spicy. The food was definitely not upto the mark but the place is quite upscale. Not visiting again

Food is overpriced and not that great. Location is nice. Service is friendly. I would advise going elsewhere if you’re looking for good quality food. For A La Carte, go down the street to Korean Village Restaurant.

Edit: The restaurant says my review is not based on facts. For two drinks and an app, the bill came to over $50. The app was okay and not worth the price. Having been to dozens of Korean and Japanese restaurants in the area, it’s easy to identify quality food and meat and this restaurant fell short.

This was my first time trying Korean BBQ and it was delicious! The service was good and the food came quickly. It was a good sized portion as well. The only thing that put me off a bit was the washrooms - they're in the basement and there was a sewage odour down there.

Fun experience. Would have been great if the place was a bit darker and maybe they had music going. Bbq sets are good but found meat to be thick and it felt like it never got cooked. Overall it was a good experience but I just wish the meat was thinner. Prices r also kinda high from my pov.

$5 for garlic, $5 for lettuce, $9 cheese corn, $5 for 1 milkis, this restaurant is a pure scam. you literally get all of these for free (except the milkis) at a normal kbbq place but they still choose to rob you of all that. you would’ve spent $25 on nothing. even if you wanted to get it with a set, they don’t even come with it. their set is literally incomplete. imagine paying $120 for 2 people and they want you to pay $5 extra for garlic and $3 for rice?? almost comical at this point. but i get it, y’all gotta pay downtown rent. don’t come here unless you wanna get absolute robbed. there are so many better places to go to that won’t take all your money unjustly.

I went to this place with a few friends during the Korean festival and you know when the place is packed, it’s a good place. This one server is an older lady and her attitude was so friendly and welcoming and funny during a overwhelming busy time. I recommend this place.

Montreal restaurant.
I ate there when I went to Quebec and stopped by again when I came back.

Didn't try the bbq, but the dinner bento box was not that great. At $30, it felt like a rip-off. The mains (pork, tempura and bulgogi) were decent but the sushi pieces on the side were bad. The rice was cold and hard, and the fish slices did not taste fresh. The Maki rolls had so much sauce it didn't taste like anything.

We were also only told after our meal that a forced 18% gratuity would be added to our bill (which also can't be split) for a table of 6.

If you come here, it's probably a better idea to go for the bbq... Or even better, try out the plethora of other restaurants in the Annex.
