Fantastic café with fresh, flavorful sandwiches, excellent drinks, and the best alfajores I’ve ever had. Perfect spot for both dine-in and takeout—highly recommended!
Great place
I love the outdoor seating. A little pricey, but the food is good.
Nice sit down cafe, my favorite are their croissant sandwiches!
The breakfast was very delicious. The outdoor seating is great. However, the employee made us very late because he did not know how to take and complete the order.
Got coffee and it was watered down 🤷♂️
Every morning of my business trip, I come here. The staff are so kind and remember my name. I love soaking in the cozy winter atmosphere!

Is nice that they offer a courtesy chocolate treat with the coffee, but it misses the point when it is purposely dropped at you. Please keep giving the nice chocolate treat, but don’t drop it, place it. This is what chatGPT had to say about it: “In Canada, as in many cultures, it is generally considered impolite to pass items to another person by dropping them onto a surface, especially if the action appears careless or dismissive.” I definitely felt dismissed, and it was deliberate, not an accident. UPDATE: the café was very receptive to the feedback, and I will surely be back in the future. Upgraded the stars to 4. Wishing them the best!

The chicken sandwich was stinky, and I had diarrhea after eating it. I also saw the girl who prepared the coffee accidentally drop a small cup into it, and she still served that coffee to the customer!

I visited Aroma Espresso Bar on a sunny afternoon to hang out. The café is attached to a nearby building and has a clean dark-framed exterior with its iconic signage that stands out. Inside, it’s quite spacious, offering plenty of tables and seating options.
The menu is displayed on overhead TV screens, but they also have printed versions and a digital kiosk for ordering, which was a nice, modern touch.
I ordered an iced Americano, which was prepared in just a few minutes. It was served in a sleek takeout cup, along with Aroma’s signature chocolate. The coffee was refreshing, smooth, and not bitter at all, which I really enjoyed.
There’s also outdoor seating available, perfect for enjoying a quiet afternoon. If you’re in downtown Toronto and looking for a relaxed spot to unwind, this is a great place to check out.

A couple people in line so it was not busy or crowded; yet we waited over 5mins before any one came to the counter to take our order. Ordered breakfast and was surprised that it was not up to usual Aroma quality (eg Yonge & Eg. location has excellent quality). None of the empty tables were wiped off or cleaned. Will not be returning to this location.
