It has been a very long time since I was here but when I was in Toronto on business my go-to place for awesome pub food was the Artful Dodger! The service was excellent and the food incredible! I have such wonderful memories of this pub. They had the best Perogies served with onions, bacon, shredded cheese, sour cream and salsa. With a mug of ice cold beer, what a great meal!
Great neighborhood pub. Patio seating and attentive service.
Drinks are par, nothing special but you're not here for the jaZZ anyway.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The staff is shockingly rude, and the service is so slow that you'll be waiting forever to get your food. On top of that, I had to sit there with mice running around on the walls, it was honestly disgusting. To make matters worse, both the manager and Michael, our server, were cursing at us after reporting mice, which is completely unprofessional. I’ll definitely be reporting this. Just an awful experience from start to finish.
My worse experience in a pub. The service was awful as it took the waiter a really long time to take our order and give us the bill (no letting us split it too). Also, a mouse almost jumped on us (we were sitting in the open space). When we went to talk to the manager, he was drunk and did not respond well to our complaints and started mocking us.

Servers are rude by default! You might get lucky and someone might drop a smile or two depending highly on how used you are to the informal pub style! I keep coming back because it’s close otherwise I’d go somewhere!! Food is just ok! Chicken wings came with a ranch sauce that had two colors (one dried on top and one whiter in the bottom, looking like it was sitting in a fridge for a while). Aside from that wings were fresh and crunchy! Burger is ok and so are the risotto balls. Sandwiches and salads are fine! Decoration looks dated and dirty. Ah! Keep ordering if seated ok? Don’t just take your time with your beer!
