Had an amazing night here. We shared oysters, mussels, steak frites, and tartare, and everything landed right where it should: satisfying, flavourful, and confidently executed. The dirty gin martinis were spot on, and the espresso martinis kept the night perfectly unhurried.
Everything was delicious, service was smooth, and the vibe was that perfect mix of lively and laid-back.
Can’t wait to go back.

Gloria in the Great Hall makes an immediate impression with its Victorian-inspired décor, perfectly suited to its historic setting. We came in for dinner and our server was friendly and attentive throughout the whole evening.
I ordered the steak frites and the steak was cooked to perfect medium rare. My friends had the braised short rib, which they could not stop raving about. It was so tender and flavourful. Unfortunately, the fries were the one misstep of the night. Both the fries that came with the steak and the fries we had ordered to share as a table were so heavily salted that they were difficult to eat.
Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable.

Great place with fairly priced food. The restaurant setting brings me back to Montreal. Good choices during happy hour. We all liked the escargot and liver mousse. The duck confit was cooked well with crispy skin, and the chocolate mousse dessert was delightful. Will come back any day.

We went here for our 15th wedding anniversary. The food was really good, they had a $10 martini special on as well. We had beef tartare for the first time and now we’re obsessed with it. The French onion soup was out of this world and the mains (duck confit & short rib) were great. They gave us 2 complimentary glasses of prosecco since it was our anniversary. We had a jumbo booth facing the front window so it was nice for ppl watching. It was a little extra $$ for an everyday meal but we will definitely be returning.

Duck Confit – The duck is tender and soft, with a sauce rich in red wine flavor and a touch of sweetness. Well-balanced and seasonal. Papardelle Ragu – My first time trying pasta made with lamb, pork, and short rib. The sauce is juicy and unique—highly recommended if you’re a lamb lover.

11/10!! This place is ALWAYS busy, but the hype is with good reason. The menu is on the smaller side, however, they have perfected each and every dish. Exquisite flavour, friendly servers, and great ambiance. I highly recommend eating here.

In love is all I have to say! This restaurant reminded me of some of my favourite places to eat and drink in Montreal and the quality of the food is superb. Charming atmosphere, great happy hour specials on drinks even on the weekend and the dishes were to die for! Do yourself a favour and eat as much bread as possible.
