Got a box to Baklava but did not taste good at all. Stale and has a weird taste. Won’t recommend.

I don't like to throw out food but I had throw away the baklava I bought at Athena Bakery. It was stale and unappetizing. It was made without nuts. Just filo pastry covered in watered-down honey and sugar crystals. Avoid this bakery. There's better in Greektown.

Went the first time a couple of weeks ago and had a good experience. I decided to go back and unfortunately it was a huge letdown. Everything was stale, the spanakopita was dry and the baklavas tasted rancid. You shouldn't serve old food to people if you want to have a returning customer. Please beware.

If you're ever in the East end of Toronto, along Danforth, then you have to drop in to believe the variety, quality and savory taste of their handmade Greek and European products. Whether you buy items to take home and enjoy with friend and family or eat while walking around Greektown you have to enjoy their authentic European baking. And please, don't forget to save some of their baklava for others on the drive home.

This is the place where I go to get ultra honey drippy baklava yummy with nuts and amazing pastry. I will go over to Athens Bakery for my loukoumades, but I like to come here for my baklava
