A few months ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Athens during a business trip to Toronto, after a friend’s recommendation. The heartwarming welcome from George (the owner) and his staff was matched only by the amazing flavors they served—each dish transported me straight back to the motherland.
I had the stifado and a horiatiki salad, and honestly, both were filled with love and nostalgia—as if my grandmother had cooked them herself! They even treated me to a few shots of zivania, a traditional spirit from my other homeland.
George kindly offered to show me around in his car and even drove me back to the station—a true reflection of Greek spirit, kindness, and warmth.
Highly, highly recommended! A little gem in the heart of Greektown, Toronto.

Waited 45 min as they did not honour reservation for 8, asked if we wanted anything as we waited but did not offer us anything for the wait.. dinner took 2.5 hours! Lamb souvlaki comes ground which was disappointing, and food is very greasy…this place is also expensive compared to the other options around

Overpriced food but village lamb and sagnaki were great. We were given wine that was 20$ a glass without notice...

Couldn’t be more impressed. We are part Greek (been to Greece several times) and went to other places on Danforth only to be very disappointed. After checking out the pictures of this place on Google, we felt it looked very authentic so wanted to give it a try. Boy did it deliver. One of the best Greek places I’ve had in a long time. Reminds me of the last time I went to Greece. Don’t look further if you’re looking for authentic Greek food (or just good food in general) and good service.

Had dinner here tonight with my family. My goodness…. If you are looking for authentic Greek food made with love and care, and a high level of service, you found the right place. It’s been a long time since I have found somewhere that serves delicious authentic Greek food and service, and I am so happy to have found this hidden gem. Will be back over and over again. Every single thing we ate blew expectations out of the wateri, and the service was so exceptional. Thank you so much!!

At peak times it can be a bit of wait to get a table if you don't reserve. Small space that is packed but don't worry you feel claustrophobic.
Great food, with a wide variety of authentic choices. Service is friendly, fast and efficient. Prices are reasonable.

Outrageous prices for their home-made meals.
Thank you very much for the burnt potatoes. You will see in my pictures. No sides with the moussaka only for slices of tomatoes. And the veal stifado is a dish made with baby onions and I got absolutely not even one again. Look at the pictures. It tells the entire experience. Terrible. You should be ashamed of yourself. George. Look at Floga restaurants pictures and see the difference. It's worth the drive to go to Kennedy road instead of Athens restaurant. Ρεζίλι έχετε γίνει.
