Food is fine, nothing mindblowing and especially not for the price. Service is horrible. Staff are so rude and unfriendly. Try to give them a smile or a thank you and they look at you like dirt beneath their shoe. Every time they bite new staff they start off nice then slowly become evil as well, almost as if it’s part of their customer service policy to treat their customers like an inconvenience. Would never recommend due to their service alone.

Made me takeout my food just because I bought coffee outside, it’s early in the morning and no one’s even there dining. I’m sure other customer wouldn’t mind if I’m drinking other coffee. Shouldn’t I be able to dine in too since I bought a sandwich? And service is very slow for an avocado toast btw!

I just bought a wrap, and while I was waiting to receive my order, I noticed that the kitchen staff do not use gloves. The one who prepared my food handled other things and for the time I was there he never washed his hands. Then picked up the sliced cucumber with his hands and put in the container with the wrap. Grabbed his water bottle and cellphone, occasionally whipped his fingers in some dirty white cloth on the counter. It was bizarre. I informed two staff members about this and they looked at me as if I was speaking some other language. No action at all. I will not be going back, very disappointed. Someone needs to check their food handling practices.

I like this spot though it could benefit from larger signage on the street. The food was good, though not necessarily out of the ordinary for lunch or for this type of café. One thing that made the experience good, other than the conversation with friends, was the service. Service when purchasing the food was typical but the person who brought the food out and cleared the tables after was atypical in friendliness and professionalism. It is always appreciated when all the staff see their roles in making the customer experience great. Kudos to that staff in particular and kudos to the owners for involving everyone in the mission.

Glad to find this gem - friendly service, fresh pastries and good coffee. There's an elevator to access upstairs seating and washrooms. Also a sunny patio. Will definitely come back.

The service here was incredible. Andrea definitely made the mundane task of going to a cafe much more enjoyable with her friendly demeanour. I will 100% coming back.

A hidden gem in downtown Toronto:
The service at this café is exceptional. Andrea, Catherine, and John are always kind and welcoming, their attention to detail and ability to stream line service is outstanding.
The food is always fresh and deliciously prepared. The Chef and his team create different lunch dishes weekly, and aim to accommodate costumer's requests.

1/3 of drink is missing when ordered online. It was sealed/ no spillage.

This is a pretty nice cafe. When I went at 8 am there were a lot of seats open. The view on the second floor is not that great because there’s a huge horizontal bar that blocks part of the view of the roads outside, so I would recommend the bottom floor. I got the medium roast coffee, and it was decent; it definitely woke me up lol. I would definitely prefer this cafe over the Starbucks across the street.

Service is terrible. It feels like they go out of their way to make you feel bad. Drinks are underwhelming.
