Recent Reviews

The Avenue Road Diner has been around since 1944. Although I lived up the street from 1969 for about 30 years, I had never been there. The food was delicious, the service great,staff friendly.

I appreciatetd the historic charm of this place, having been around since 1944. The atmosphere is really warm, which is lovely. However, I found that the food didn’t quite meet my expectations and didn’t leave a lasting impression that would draw me back. I also noticed that they only accept cash, which is inconvenient in today’s digital age., though they did mention that beforehand and ATM machine is available at their restaurant. Anyways that doesn’t change anything...

I go here every few weeks on weekends for the best breakfast food.
The family owned diner is so nice and cook so well. THEY MAKE THE BEST BREAKFAST POTATOES!

Vegetarian options: i always ask for no bacon and substitute it with their fresh tomatoes from their garden
