In Toronto just for the day so had to try a peameal bacon sandwich, poutine, and Montreal smoked meat. This little place had it all, and I loved it! My friend had the chicken salad sandwich and said it might have been the best she ever had. I definitely recommend if you can get in - is not a big place.

The sandwiches have really gone down hill, meat was tasteless, bread felt cheap, disappointed. Had the Montreal smoked meat

BRUH this is the best little breakfast spot in the city as far as I’m concerned. Loved the prices, loved the banter from the employees and customers, loved the speed that everything came out at, loved that you could see them make it, and especially loved the food in general. You can taste the experience, and the love. They’re doing something so right here, and I loved the feeling of being at home! We will be back!🙏

Fantastic food. The staff was hilarious. They gave my daughter a free drink for her birthday. Such a gem in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the city.

Just real delicious food made as you watch. 1000 points for keeping the place clean and orderly and the AC perfect when it's that tiny and busy!! I sat next to the open kitchen and just expected to die of heat but it was perfect!
Great service fresh squeezed orange juice, and home fries. A lot of breakfast don’t have home fries o their menu.
Awesome dinner here, tucked away nice quiet spot very nice people!
36 bucks with tip for two of us for breakie.

I have been coming to this diner since I moved to the city in 2018, and it is consistently delicious.
Service is always quick and attentive - no matter how busy they are. For some people the staff may come across as 'rude' or 'curt' but it is more so their personality style. They are not trying to be your friends, they are trying to provide you efficient service. I would wager it is among the best service of any restaurant in Toronto and many establishments can learn from the staff here how to run a meal service properly.
Food is always good. I normally come just for the breakfast and get their steak and eggs (for $20.99 which is a STEAL), which is always cooked to perfection. Portions are huge, and their dishes are the best priced meals in the entire city.
Truthfully, you cannot go wrong with this place. It's homey, comfort food that's always satisfactory.
