The pastel art and lighting is adorable, definitely coming back.

A must-visit gem in Leslieville!

Avling Brewery nails the trifecta: amazing beer, a killer happy hour, and genuinely friendly staff that make you feel right at home.

The beer selection is top-notch—everything from their refreshing Lime Lager to the Juicy Hazy Pale Ale. My girlfriend especially loved the Raspberry Blast sour— balanced, and packed with flavour without being overly sweet.

Happy Hour is a total steal: all draught beer for just $6! Pair that with their elevated bar snacks like the Fries Royale (that truffle gouda and black garlic aioli combo is addictive) or the Duck Spring Rolls with that wild sour beer and plum sauce. *chef’s kiss*

The space is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and the staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and just plain awesome. Whether I'm going for a casual pint or a proper meal, Avling delivers every time.

Highly recommend grabbing a flight, staying for dinner, and picking up a bottle or two from the shop on your way out!

Went with my wife to have a beer on the patio. Wasn't expecting a brewery to have much of a menu but when we saw the plates coming out we decided to stay for dinner. Highly recommend the rigatoni!

Certainly the best craft brewery on the east-end. Great variety of food, including brunch. I recommend the barrel-aged beers which are A+.

The beer is excellent. Adds so much to the beer scene in the east end. WIne beers and sours, all inspired by the rooftop garden and local ingredients.

The food is a bit pricy, but is quite good.

Beer and food are always spot on; the atmosphere is hit or miss. The host (with glasses and a sour face) who sat us tonight walked so fast that we could only watch where she was going, then she just threw the menus on the table. Our server was pleasant and made up for the initial impression left by his colleague.
I got the burger and it was tasty. I had the Vienna lager with it and loved it. We'll come back but we hope the place would feel more welcoming next time.

I've been here once for drinks and had a good time and was impressed with their beers, so I decided to bring my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. Despite making a dinner reservation and seeing a few empty two-seaters with reserved signs, we were seated at the bar, and when I asked if we could get a table instead we were told they were expecting large groups (?) The vegan burger was served on a very soggy bun like it had been sitting on the counter too long and the rest of the food was rather bland. I'd go back, but only for the beer selection.

Great brewery and restaurant on the east end! A lot of great beers in a beautiful space! Was here for a group event. I arrived right before happy hour ended, told I missed it by a minute. No problem! After I ordered my sour, the server mentioned for my next one to get a bottle since they are half off on Sundays. Would have appreciated the heads up before I ordered a pint. As for food we didn't have a private room. The food was tasty but there wasn't a whole lot of it. A table of 6 has two sliders come our at a time with time in between. So venue great for smaller groups bit the food definitely not paced or portioned for groups. It was like a rotation of snacks but only two people eating at a time. Service might be better in a non geoup setting.

Beer Can Chicken - The perfect sort of pub food, half of a chicken cooked for a beautifully golden brown skin and served with a chicken beer jus and ultra-fresh vegetables taken straight from their own garden on the upper floor. It's completely different from the supermarket stuff.

I'm not sure if I get the hype for this place. The beers were good but the cocktail I tried was very watered down. The main dishes were not amazing. The service and vibe was friendly though.

We are here at least once a week! So happy Avling is so close to our house. Amazing for adults and kids alike, best happy hour, and personally so grateful for the amazing plant-based options!

Vegetarian options: Tons of vegan and veg options for all meals

Kid-friendliness: We have a now 8 month old baby and they’re always so accommodating. Kids’ menu, high chairs galore, wipes and diapers in the bathroom.
