Beer and food are always spot on; the atmosphere is hit or miss. The host (with glasses and a sour face) who sat us tonight walked so fast that we could only watch where she was going, then she just threw the menus on the table. Our server was pleasant and made up for the initial impression left by his colleague.
I got the burger and it was tasty. I had the Vienna lager with it and loved it. We'll come back but we hope the place would feel more welcoming next time.

I've been here once for drinks and had a good time and was impressed with their beers, so I decided to bring my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. Despite making a dinner reservation and seeing a few empty two-seaters with reserved signs, we were seated at the bar, and when I asked if we could get a table instead we were told they were expecting large groups (?) The vegan burger was served on a very soggy bun like it had been sitting on the counter too long and the rest of the food was rather bland. I'd go back, but only for the beer selection.
Great brewery and restaurant on the east end! A lot of great beers in a beautiful space! Was here for a group event. I arrived right before happy hour ended, told I missed it by a minute. No problem! After I ordered my sour, the server mentioned for my next one to get a bottle since they are half off on Sundays. Would have appreciated the heads up before I ordered a pint. As for food we didn't have a private room. The food was tasty but there wasn't a whole lot of it. A table of 6 has two sliders come our at a time with time in between. So venue great for smaller groups bit the food definitely not paced or portioned for groups. It was like a rotation of snacks but only two people eating at a time. Service might be better in a non geoup setting.

Beer Can Chicken - The perfect sort of pub food, half of a chicken cooked for a beautifully golden brown skin and served with a chicken beer jus and ultra-fresh vegetables taken straight from their own garden on the upper floor. It's completely different from the supermarket stuff.

I'm not sure if I get the hype for this place. The beers were good but the cocktail I tried was very watered down. The main dishes were not amazing. The service and vibe was friendly though.

We are here at least once a week! So happy Avling is so close to our house. Amazing for adults and kids alike, best happy hour, and personally so grateful for the amazing plant-based options!
Vegetarian options: Tons of vegan and veg options for all meals
Kid-friendliness: We have a now 8 month old baby and they’re always so accommodating. Kids’ menu, high chairs galore, wipes and diapers in the bathroom.

The beer selection was at Avling was wonderful, and the snacks (both appetizers we ordered and the sticky toffee pudding dessert) were very tasty. Not sure I'd say the same about the main dishes, which were just fine but nothing to write home about, so I'd heartily recommend this place for a night out for some drinks and snacks, rather than a restaurant experience.

The place is stunning! I loved the island bar and the colors. Simple but elangant.
The service is very good.
The different beer and those that we tried were really good.
We got some sanduíches, they were ok but could be better, the ketchup chips were too seasoned to my taste.

Outstanding brunch experience! The decor of the space is cheerful and bright. I was initially skeptical about the twist on Eggs Florentine with rainbow chard, but it exceeded all expectations—it was absolutely to die for! My friend had the Farmer's Breakfast and raved about it, calling it one of the best brunches she’s ever had. Loved it! We'll be back again.

I followed up 3 times and called multiple times over the course of a month and a half to book a wedding date. This was an 80% chance of booking (just needed to verify quote). But for the absolute lack of regard of the event coordinator to even provide a copy and paste reply, this was a sure bet. Absolutely disappointed
I’m gojng to be explicit here about the excuses I was given when I called: “so and so was on vacation, should get back to you soon, I’ll let them know.” *a week later with no reply* “so and so just had a birthday party.” F off. I would’ve spent $30,000 on you . You can’t even be bothered to collect money

Excellent sour selection on tap at reasonable prices. Lovely patio and indoor space. Food menu has improved though more vegan options would be appreciated - especially with many vegetable items grown onsite. Small plates are only shareable with one other person.
