Milwood Avoca keeps getting better and better! I love that they now offer a variety of coffee, sandwiches, and beef patty options, along with healthy fresh juices. The green juice is my absolute favorite — so fresh and refreshing! The chocolates are still amazing, and now you can enjoy a full meal or snack in addition to their incredible treats. We stopped by Avoca Chocolates for a family treat and absolutely loved it! The shop is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were so kind to our kids while we picked our chocolates and gelato. Everything tasted amazing — especially the variations of different truffles! You can tell everything’s made with care. A real hidden gem — will be visiting again for sure!

We’ve been loyal customers of this gelato shop for a long time because their gelato is genuinely good. However, the recent experiences have been disappointing.
According to Google, their operating hours are listed as 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Last month, I went there around 7:00 PM, but they were closed. When I asked about it later, they told me they now close at 8:00 PM on weekdays.
Tonight, I went at 6:50 PM, and the door was already locked. I called, and someone came to the front, saw the phone ringing, but didn’t answer. I also knocked on the window, and the employee refused to open or even acknowledge us — she turned her back and went into the back room.
It’s very disappointing to see this kind of attitude, especially from a place we’ve supported for so long. If the hours have changed again, they should be clearly updated online, and staff should treat customers with basic courtesy.

Adorable little chocolate shop with exceptionally good homemade gelato and ice cream! The coconut and vanilla bean gelato was excellent.
I loved how cute the store is, I had the gelato and it’s superb. The box of chocolates is the perfect gift for any occasion. The packaging is lovely.

This super sweet corner chocolatier is really really good! I've gotten a pack of their chocolates for a bride-to-be and she loved them.
If you're a chocoholic like me, I highly recommend the dark chocolate vegan gelato and the Nutella. It's a really good combination, but quite honestly I have yet to have a bad flavour from there! Toasted marshmallow and rocky road are great options too.
They're a bit pricey and there's very little seating to enjoy your ice cream/gelato, but it's worth it I promise.

A quaint shop along Millwood; I've passed it countless times but never had the opportunity to stop in. I'm glad I did! I had the Nutella and roasted marshmallow flavours and they were very delicious. Good gelato texture and I saw a selection of vegan gelatos. Good for on-the-go desserts or if you want to finish it in their shop (though seating is limited).
