The burger was dry and over grilled. The cheese was cracked and not completely melted. The fires we're decent. It used to be a good place to get a burger. No more.

Axis doesn't bill itself as one of the new trendy dive bars, nor does it attempt to be your local Irish pub... But it somehow does both really well.
There are items of food here that are quite remarkable and I mean that in the best of ways.. one of the best seafood pastas in the city, both in terms of value ample portion size and actual seafood.
Drink prices are quite Fair and the locals are friendly enough that if there isn't a table for you solos out there, you're more than welcome to join one

Burger was burnt to an inedible crisp, but fries were ok. Drinks were decent, but not spectacular enough to justify their prices. Basically come here if you want a patio in the area that's not right out there in the traffic.
