I appreciate that their bread is high hydration and super airy and fluffy. However, the bottom was burnt!

Initially, I wasn't going to post this review because I thought maybe it was an off-day and their bread isn't always burnt but it's been burnt more than once! The picture is of the bread even after scraping off some of the burnt bottom!

Fantastic find with amazing bread and baked goods. Unassuming store front with no sign so wasn’t sure to even go in but glad I did. Food, service and friendliness were awesome. Will go back.

Mark my words, galettes are going to make a comeback and Bà Nôi make a stellar one! Seasonal ingredients, freshly made and not too sweat. Nut free as well!

Staff is very friendly at this tiny spot. Although no indoor seating for now plenty of benches or even the park nearby.

Best buttertarts in Ontario !!

People recomended this one for the butter tart and there is a good reason why. I dont think I have had a butter tart before and if I have, it was not nearly this good. The flackiness and carimelzation was really good. It was gooy and super rich as well. They are cheap too all things considered. It is absolutly worth stopping in and grabbing a few.

the butter tarts here are SOOOOO good. i’ve only been to toronto twice but ive driven upwards of an hour 3 different times to get a stash to eat and bring home to friends. one of my friends said eating it was the best 30 seconds of his life… i agree! and the bakery is nut free which is such a good feeling a someone who has to skip out on treats a kot due to allergies

Had the butter tart and it was amazing. Didn’t like the coffee - at all. My espresso was sour and unpleasant. Not sure I would try it again.

Everything is delicious but they run out of almost everything earlier in the day.

We heard about Bà Nôi's Butter Tarts on our trip to Toronto and absolutely had to try them. The tart was very sweet and tasty, and the salt on top worked very well with the flavours. If I was a local, I would definitely be a regular customer. 100% recommend anyone visiting to try these tarts.
