We ordered three or four types of Montreal-style bagels, but unfortunately, they were quite hard and didn’t taste fresh. The bakery itself seems a bit dated and could benefit from being a little cleaner.

This is not a 4-star place; no way. The place is in bad condition, old and dirty. Staff are uncaring. The food sucks.
Bought a can of coke, it had dirt and grime on the top (a lot of it). I didn't notice until after I paid, so I asked if they could rinse it off under the sink. Guy told me to use a straw, as if the dirt was totally normal (it was not).
Worse yet, I ordered an egg salad sandwich. I don't know what that was, but it was not egg salad. More like dried, ground up, pressed together tasteless egg. No seasoning, no other ingredients, just the egg. And it was deep fridge cold.
Literally the worst egg salad sandwich in my entire life, by a wide margin.

Picked up an onion and a sesame variety.
Bagels were good when toasted. Nice crunch on the outside and chewy inside. Was great with a little bit of…salted butter.
Bagels were coming out fresh from the oven when I got there. And with fresh baked goods I’m not sure how long people expect them to last so those complaints in reviews here are odd. Grab a grocery variety if you need the preservatives to last longer.
Will return to try the other bagel varieties.

Authentic Montreal style bagels!!! Family run. MADE FRESH DAILY! All the reviews complaining about them going stale are used too used to terrible grocery store bagels. Have to freeze them to keep them more than a few days! Great sandwiches too.

Nice little mom and pop shop in Greektown in Toronto. First time trying a Montreal style bagel smoked meat sandwich, and it is one of the best I’ve ever had in my 50+ years of life. Montreal bagels have a wonderful flavor. Watch out NY.
