Great breakfast sandwich. Nice people. The atmosphere coukd use some work, it was really hot inside so there were a couple massive fans in there which were very loud. Not really a compliant, but not really a good spot to sit and eat unless you are luck enough to get the one table outside.

My favorite bagel shop in the city. The bagels are made daily in their wood fired over in the back of the store. This is a must try in the area. They make Montreal style bagles, ie the more dense and slightly sweet bagels not the super fluffy style. I like either the breakfast sandwich (Add lettuce and tomato) or just bagle and cream cheese. The goods: - great bagles - staff are usually very friendly (although recent staffing changes have been less inviting) - great breakfast sandwich Just okay: - no customer washroom - food can be slow - 10 to 15mins for a sandwich (often under staffed) - The sandwiches are good and I get them frequently but they are not sandwich experts, they are bagel experts

Bagels on Fire is basically the lunch time sponsor for us LMAO.
The women who work here are all so wonderful (there's no AC, and it gets STEAMY in there - the fact that they're still so nice is a miracle), and sometimes you get a bagel that you can literally taste the love. Once in awhile you'll get a foamy tomato, or a bagel with kind of funky ingredient distribution, but those are outliers.
They're a wonderful part of the neighbourhood, and they're the first place I send people when they ask about food around here. I usually grab the BLT with cheddar cheese, and sometimes a salmon lox bagel. If you get the cinnamon puff, ask them to warm it up for you - definitely improves the taste! I cannot sing their praises enough, and the people who work there honestly make the experience.

Best bagel I've had! Great texture, a little crisp on the outside and perfect chew. Got the breakfast sandwich on everything and the egg was well seasoned and bacon cooked to my ideal chew. Heavy coating of the everything seasoning which I love. Service was just a little slow, but they were jam-packed when I went so that probably contributed. I was tempted to grab a 1/2 dozen to bring home with me from vacation and the only reason I didn't want because I ran out of room in my suitcase. Will definitely go back when I'm in the city again.
I love this shop and especially the roasted beef bagel! 🥯I have seen the staff not in the best mood, but the food was always good!

I got a blt bagel on an onion bagel. I wouldn’t get it again. There wasn’t much bacon & the pieces of onion on the bagel were really burnt. It wasn’t very expensive so I’m not upset over it but I wouldn’t go back.
