We had the fish fillets and BBQ calamari

A lovely surprise and neighbourhood gem. We stumbled in here for dinner one night without much planning and was really pleased with the food served. The mixed platter appetizer was so tasty, I could eat that fresh cheese everyday. Very reasonable price point. Always order a green wine.

Had to park a little far back to get here, but it wasn’t that bad of a walk. I was greeted in a friendly manner. Host checked on us periodically , which we appreciated. Overall, staff felt very accommodating.

Terrible experience this evening
Went to pick up food ordered 3 days prior
Not only was the food delayed but I waited for 1 hour.. the embarrassment was 20 people behind me to pick up food noticed 2 women almost coming to a fight because one tried to sneak in.. this restaurant was very disorganized

Great wine selection

I went in to place a takeout order and wasn't even acknowledged at first. After letting the person behind the counter know I wanted to order, I waited and observed something very concerning. A female staff member was walking around with a plate of fried shrimp. She set it down next to a bowl of fries, then used her bare hands to grab the fries and place them on the plate. Afterward, she wiped her hands on her pants and continued working.

At that point, I told them to cancel my order. If that's what happens in plain sight, I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes. I've ordered from this place months ago and had a better experience, but it seems like there may be new owners now. The condition of the takeout area didn't seem well-kept either.

If you're curious about how your food is being handled, I recommend standing near the takeout section—you might be surprised by what you see.

Great food, very cheering and friendly people👍love the place, def recommend to try. There’s something in the spices that’s just so special. Amazing. Will come back all the time.

We loved going to eat at the restaurant, it was the first time I ever saw my husband really love eating what he ordered. We often eat from the take out place they have. I am crazy about their caldo verde, it's so good and authentic. Please keep up the good work and quality 🙏
