I recently visited Code Bake and was disappointed with my experience. I tried the viral pistachio croissant, which was overcooked, and the cream lacked any pistachio flavor—definitely not worth the price.

Additionally, my daughter wanted a piece of moon cake, but the staff wouldn’t sell just one piece; they insisted on selling in pairs or by six. I’ve never encountered such a policy before. I ended up paying $22 for two pieces of cake that my kids didn’t enjoy, and the whole staff noticed our disappointment, especially since I spent a total of $60.

Overall, the experience was frustrating, and the staff wasn’t welcoming at all. I wouldn't recommend Code Bake

Don’t know why every time i order from them, they cancel my order in Uber and Doordash. It’s been three times now. They never mentioned the reason either. Quite disappointed.

Really cute cafe with a lot of selection. The atmosphere is cute but there is very limited seating so take away is the best option. The staff are very kind and service is fast.

Came here for the Chatime and was sorely disappointed. We made a very simple order and they got both the size (paid for a large and got a small) and the sugar wrong despite having it be correct on the register. They were also very slow and took much too long for a single order when there were no other orders and the place was empty. The place also smells terrible - I’m not sure what causes that stench but I genuinely felt nauseous.

Went in to get a couple of passionfruit slushes at the Chatime under the buy 2 large teas for $10 deal. They gave us two small teas, that were extremely sugary despite us asking for no sugar. Disappointing. Can’t comment on the baked goods, but don’t go to the Chatime here.

Preordered a strawberry shortcake and basque cheesecake for pick-up. Both were high quality, delicious, not too sweet and wowed my family. Online ordering process was easy and pickup process was smooth too. Will definitely order from here again!

I love croissants but these just didn’t hit. They weren’t bad but they weren’t the best either. I wouldn’t visit again!

It's good. Nuff said.

Tried the Almond Black Sesame, Hazelnut Chocolate, Yuzu Cheesecake, and Apple Pie croissants, Japanese Strawberry shortcake, and Coffee Swiss Roll - all delicious!

Apple Pie: on the lighter side with a very healthy amount of whipped cream

Almond Black Sesame: the Almond and Black Sesame go very well together!

Hazelnut Chocolate: filled with a good amount of Nutella

Coffee Swiss Roll: excellent ratio of cream to cake, coffee flavour on the lighter side

Japanese Strawberry Shortcake: strawberries, whip cream and sponge cake - very light and fluffy with no fillers like strawberry jam. My son loved it and ran around the living room it was so good!

Old croissants. Be careful guys they are not honest

Had high expectations, that weren't entirely met. Ordered the coffee croissant which came with a cookie melted over it and a dropper with a few ml of coffee seeping in - it couldn't be heated and that made it pretty hard. Also ordered a earl grey, white chocolate croissant but the layer of white chocolate was overpowering. Overall an average experience with potential for some good options in the future.

I come here for occasionally because their croissants are amazing. Coffee is eh/okay.

However some of the staff are not good. Specially Kao was not helpful at all. I asked if we can add milk to my Americano, he said no and he doesn’t suggest any other option, just blankly looking at my face. I had to go through the menu and ask one by one to find a way to have smt I can like. Found out that you can add flavour shots to drinks and created my own drink which he helped none. Then he didn’t even ask what size I would prefer, just asked me to pay directly. Hot coffee wasn’t hot at all either.
If you know how to navigate the menu, then the place is amazing. But if you are at Kao’s hands, good luck.
