I have ordered Matcha latte and the taste was awful. I am not ordering my coffee in this place anymore. After asking the staff why Match Latte tastes like this, she said we are not using the powder. They are using Tazo melon flavoured green tea with matcha in it and charges 5.50 for Grand size. Tasting like melon and very artifical. Very low quality. Never be back again.

Why so rude? I'm just ordering a coffee like a normal person. This place is hilariously bad. I don't get it. Do you want customers? Is ordering a coffee an inconvenience to you, the owner of a coffee shop? Unreal behavior from these people.

Matcha latte was brown. Turns out to be concentrated Tazo melon flavoured green tea with matcha in it. Cashier argued with me that she couldn't replace it because I don't like it, and that other customers think it's fine. Very reluctant to get me a different drink, having to drag themself over to the manager 3 feet away to ask about qhat the manager could clearly hear us talking about... and wanting me to pay for another one instead. Manager gave the go ahead. Ordered a London fog, Tazo, and the tea bag was open. I don't want to go back to the cashier since they are gonna treat me like I'm the problem... gross. And the bathroom is gross... at 10AM. There used to be a Starbucks here. I thought I was happy that a local cafe moved in, but it's just second-hand corporate slop, for when you absolutely need something before you catch the bus. There I said it. Better to go down the street to The Grind, or the cute little cafe next to St Michael's and All Angels.

My first time here. I wouldn't come back. The cashier, a lady with glasses, was super cold and rude. I had no choice but to sit and have my tea there because it was raining. If not I would have left and had my tea somewhere else.
A friend of mine wanted to meet here, i have never been and will never ever come back again to this place. I have asked the man for the code for the washroom and i sincerely didnt understand what he said, i told him that i didnt understand what he was saying, if he could repeat it. From that moment, this absolutely insecure man went on a nasty tirade of insults and even preventing me from ordering from the woman or the staffer that was serving. The wood chairs are about the fully disintegrate, i amost fell on the ground. We left and i realized that i forgot something and came back, thank god, it was there. Picked it up and left, when i tried to speak to the woman, this rude, primitive Indian man came on to me and said to her, please do not serve him. He then proceed to ask me never to come back. ALL of this based on his insecurities because i wasnt able to understand what he said. Obviously, i will never come back, but i wanted to write this review to say that we dont need this type of childish, primitive treatment, when we are spending our hard earned dollars where the staff treats its customers in this manner

This used to be a Starbucks and I was disappointed when it closed due to the lack of coffee shops in the immediate area. However, when a new cafe opened up in its place I was excited to try it. The coffee and other drinks are great and they have a good selection of baked goods and sandwiches, which are actually fresh unlike most chain coffee places. The owner is very friendly and personable. In the last few years the St. Clair Bathurst area has had a lot more fast food chains pop up, which is why I am so glad this place opened here. Please go try it out if you are in the area!

Peter, the owner/manager is so funny. He's very kind too. He remembers my dad's name and banters and they have a lot of fun. BTW my dad is 91 yrs old!
