If you're unfamiliar with cevapi, also known as cevapcici, you came to a right place. Chevapi are made with 2 or 3 different types of minced meat beef, veal, lamb, pork, or a mixed selection, which are then hand-mixed and formed into small kebab style shapes using a funnel. Chevapi are then barbecued and served with lepina, a traditional pita style flat bread, kajmak, a cream cheese style spread, and chopped red or white onion, or they can be served on their own with any desired side dish. You can serve cevapi in portions of five to ten. We recommend using your hands to eat it the traditional way and with a fully filled lepina. We know you'll be happy you did!

The best street meat I have found in Toronto and totally worth going out of your way to grab a sandwhich if you are in the downtown area. It is located on the east side of University, North of Dundas.

I've tried chevapi before in Toronto but the one from Balkan Girl Grill is by far my favourite. The meat sausages inside were seasoned well and had a delicious smoky flavour. The bread and the sauces complimented them perfectly. Besides the food, appreciated the service. The owner was kind and friendly. Definitely recommend this place and will return again.

I had Balkan Grill Grill cater the late night service and brunch for my wedding and it was unbelievably delicious. The ćevapi were such a hit for the late night food and the pjeskavice for brunch were delicious and perfectly cooked. Sandra made the entire process easy and she is so warm and loving. Highly highly recommend this place for any of your food needs !
