Referred by Rosalinda had the grilled calamari with vegetables was delicious
Great vibes as usual. Just like across the ocean. Real Authentic Italian cuisine.
Great restaurant with amazing food and service. One of the best pizza spots around. Pickup available.
Great service! Server was willing to make a mushroom risotto even though it was not on the menu. Food was pricey but quality of the food was great.
Our waitress was really nice, and their pizza and pasta is good. However, I don’t recommend ordering their daily specials, because it was not very good. The salmon was over cooked and the veggies were stale.
We just had a fantastic evening here for my mom's birthday and had to share our experience. The restaurant had such a lovely ambiance to it and an authentic Italian feel. We felt like we were on vacation abroad. Every dish we ordered tasted authentic, fresh and delicious and the portions were generous. We felt so satisfied. We had a really nice and attentive server, we felt very well taken care of. The server surprised us with a tiramisu at the end which I can confidently say was the best tiramisu I've ever had. Looking forward to coming back for date night!
We had a fantastic time here. We ordered the prosciutto pizza, penne pasta, the steak, sangrias, and the tiramisu which were all delicious! And so was the service!
Great service, amazing food. Super cute atmosphere. Support this small local business ASAP!
We ordered a risotto funghi and it wasn't well cooked. We explained that to the waitress, so they took it and when was brought again, wasn't well cooked yet. We didn't bother anymore, I don't think I will eat again there. The service wasn't good neither.
Their main dishes and desserts are killers! We Loved them!

It was really unexpected with three restaurants which I had in mind that I went to had an hour plus of wait time for a table. As I walked along Eglinton, I stumble upon Balsamico. I never know why I didn't notice this quaint, awesome restaurant before. Maybe because it was right next to Little Sisters and I assumed it was all one restaurant. But my friend pointed out and we thought since we haven't tried this place, I'd give it a go. And the stars aligned, with just very minimal wait time. It was after all dinnertime that I was there.Linda the hostess was amazing! If you don't know what to order or is plagued with indecisiveness, she the one that you should look for. She asks the right questions and reviews the right choice which you've already chosen, before making the recommendation. And then tells you the justification. Just awesome for a want it all person like me!!The atmosphere was comfortable and efficient as there is a smaller table and they cleaned it out right away, before the next dish comes arrives on your table almost like an orchestrated symphony. If you are craving for Italian, check out this place. It gets my vote for good food, good service, great recommendations and ambience
One of our fav places for dinner. My favs are the mushroom risotto, and the kale salad!
Food - pasta was the worst everSalad - was plain arugula with 1 cherry tomato cut in half, no tasteCoffee was goodDessert was goodAmbience - too noisySitting - Chairs so cramped to each other ( probably less than a foot away form your chair) you can't move.
The restaurant is very overpriced for what they offer. 13 dollars for a 5 oz wine. And they don’t serve 9 oz wines , so every time you have to order a small overpriced glass of wine. Oh and the service .. the server didn’t check on us even once after having brought our food to the table. I need black pepper for which I had to wait 10 minutes as the server never checked on us and had to go fetch her. They had brought the wine first so a little after the food arrived I wanted another glass of wine so I had to go in the restaurant myself after waiting another 10 or so minutes to order the wine. Which meant my food was now cold so I just asked for a box to take it to go. Would never return to this restaurant.
My daughter and I ate here for the first time. The food was so so and the price was ridiculous. My daughter had the nightly special which was veal in a mushroom sauce. The waiter said it came with fresh veg but he brought it with fries. The cost was $39! I had the grilled calamari which tased like it was thrown on a gas flame and burnt. No flavour at all and it was $27. A 5 oz glass of white house wine was $13. The total bill for the two of us was $93 for 2 meals and 1 glass of wine. No bread was brought to the table either. No apps and no dessert. Not very good value.
