Balzac's in Liberty Village is a charming coffee shop with a tiled floor and cute cups. They serve hot and tasty drinks, including vegan banana walnut muffins. The service is pleasant, with a welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the flatbread with eggs and cheese, and finish with a blueberry muffin. Located near Billy Bishop airport, it is often the only option on the air side, where friendly staff try to make up for less kind ones. The coffee is okay, and the food can be good depending on what is ordered, with scones being recommended. Salty foods are pretty basic, like small bread with cheddar and a geometrically correct egg. Be aware that the company operating the shop charges extra for credit card payments, so paying with debit might be better.
