Best place on planet earth. So cozy it’s not even funny! I could cry
Very cozy environment, super fun with lots of games. The tea selection is awesome and you can have a pot for $7, the new servers have kind of an attitude but overall very efficient and helpful, I would definitely visit again :)
I walked in randomly to an open mic here . This place hosts great events with beautiful people . I tried their food / drinks as well . Both awesome . If you are bored and want to have a chill time - you can just walk in here to have fun . They have books , board games as well .
I have had the sandwiches, and some sort of licorice cold tea so far, and I just love this quirky little neighborhood gem. The staff and owners are A tier, in terms of service offerings and looking to provide top guest experience at a reasonable price point intended to entice and encouraged to remain. Always new ideas, new products, or new programming brewing away in their minds too, as they seek to create new opportunities and keep any favorites. Lots of talent here, I am interested to see what they keep getting up to.
Dirty pillows and rude staff
In desperate need of an update to the interior. They have great food and tea but I would love to re design this place inside. Awesome concept otherwise
Would come here again if it weren't for the attitude of the staff. I'm sorry I politely asked for tea at a place which serves tea? :) From the moment I stepped into the place it felt like I was an imposition to the staff for literally existing. Lots of lovely places in the area to get a good cup of tea where the staff a) don't ignore you and b) don't act upset when you ask a simple question.
Love the place, or is fantastic. Our server, Alex, took great care of us. One of the absolute best places in the city.😍
My first time here, I tried the carrot cake and the Spice Master's tea and my goodness it was the perfect combo. The carrot cake was moist, not too sweet, with a hint of spices. It's the best I've had in a while. Theirs has no nuts, but it tasted great regardless. The tea was like a warm hug. I see myself going back for just those at least. The space is cosy with nooks/sections for groups to do their own thing. There were lots of games on display and some books (I even spotted an Archie comic). I think it's a great indoor escape from the city.
Update: Their deli sandwich is another reason to come back here. It’s got a perfect combination of crunch, softness and freshness. The chips that it comes with are just right too.
Ambience is lovely, staff are nice enough, and the tea is so good. My only qualm is that the anti-cafe pricing is not saving you any money, in fact it works out far more expensive than a couple of nice teas at another cafe. Great for events though!

the Kashmiri tea is great, awesome spot to hang out with some homies
Overpriced and strange ambience. The Mr. Darcy tea was good though.
Atmosphere, food, and drinks are excellent but service... um. Go here only if you can handle being bullied while ordering or asking literally any question 😭
The most excellent tea house with amazing atmosphere, service and TEA! Seriously though, the student deal here for 2 hours with unlimited tea is an absolute steal. The tea options are absolutely delicious, unique, and are made with care. They have a good selection of board games and the decor is superb. Definitely recommend coming here along with a group of friends to enjoy this fantastic experience!
Used to come here on weekend mornings to work on the tables by the window as a party of 2 people. Until yesterday, if the seats are available, then we could seat there - no issue. However, yesterday we were told we can’t sit there and that these seats are meant for 4 people. This is not to be confused with the seats being reserved, we weren’t allowed to take them because somebody might come. We sat at a different table for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, no party of 4 came to use these seats. However 2 girls were allowed to seat there but “might need to move”. We were not offered the same courtesy. On top of the $27 bill when the menu price for tea is 7 dollars. The concept of the anti-cafe which is meant to build community has been flipped on its head and used to double your bill if you stay a minute passed the hour. This will be the last time we come here.
