I had a horrible experience at this restaurant this past Sunday. I usually come drive an hour and a half just to come eat here as in the past it has been good. However, it must have changed ownership as the food and service has gone down significantly! I walked into the restaurant with my friend this past Sunday and I promptly ordered the vegan chicken biryani (the only reason I drive an hour to come to Ban-Can kitchen). The lady serving us repeated back our order and confirmed it was the vegan chicken biryani. It took 1 hour for the dish to be prepared and when it came they brought a plain vegetable biryani with little to no flavour. We informed them of the error and asked how long it would take to make the vegan chicken biryani, we were told it would only take 10 minutes. 20 minutes pass and we asked the waitress how much longer she told us only 3 to 4 minutes more.10 minutes passed and we asked again only to get the same reply.15 minutes passed and at this point we grabbed our jackets and were ready to leave and then they came and brought the vegan chicken biryani. At that point it did not make sense to leave but the vegan chicken biryani had an extremely small portion of vegan chicken and the biryani lacked flavour which is not typical as I have had this dish plenty of times at this restaurant. I had a busy evening and I found the waitresses behaviour to be horrible and disrespectful of our time. It’s very clear the owners or the chefs must have changed cause the service and food has become horrible. Will definitely not be returning after this horrible experience!

Really tasty fusion food. Loved their momo. Pulao chicken uses chinigura rice. Kacchi biriyani is finger-licking. Meat is fresh. Chicken roast is very rich. Recommend it for family meal. Came with my brother and husband.

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant. Unfortunately there will not be a second due to the following
Samosa pastry was dry
and thick not flaky and crisp
There was too much fried batter on the Pekoras which also lacked any savoury or spicey taste
Palak paneer was sticky and mushy. Unable to taste any tomato garlic cumin or other spices typically used. Very few cubed cheese.
Butter chicken. Tasted like they might have added ketchup
