Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in general in terms of quality and variety on the menu. With a rustic atmosphere I would come here once a month with new friends or anytime with old ones. I've been impressed with any options

They serve OC!!!! The pho here is very authentic! As a Vietnamese person, this is one of my favourite viet restaurants! I come for the pho, banh uot, banh cuon, pho and oc!Also, they split the kitchen and sitting space with a Mexican restaurant to help ease the rent and cost. I will come support these two local minority run businesses! Lovely people.

We normally go to the other Banh Cuon place on St Clair but on Thursdays it’s closed so we tried this location for the first time. So this is where things get weird, where do I start because upon entering the restaurant you see a Mexican flag hanging out front with a banner for La Nayarita, and upon entry the server who was a Caucasian man told, us to sit on the right side of the restaurant for the Vietnamese menu, whereas the left side is for the Mexican menu, both my friend and my menu had slightly different prices on them.We ordered the Bánh Cuốn Đặc Biệt and Bánh Xèo which were big in portion size—however the bean sprout and veggies were lacking. The dishes were flavourful with a generous bowl of nước mắm and chopped chili. I’d wish they’d given me a wider variety of fresh herbs instead of just romaine lettuce and mint.Service was excruciatingly slow because it was only 2 cooks in the kitchen and the one man server. The bill with tax and tip came to $58 which is quite pricey. I’d come back again but maybe opt for take out instead.

The first hint, why you should think twice is that the restaurant is half Mexican restaurant and half Vietnamese. After 8 pm, it becomes a Mexican restaurant.I ordered a traditional Bun with BBQ Chicken and Spring Rolls. The chicken does not taste like it has lemon grass and no pilled veggies. Made my own fish sauce since the one that came with it was hardly enough for the dish. In fact, this is the only Vietnamese food with chopped jalapeno served on the side.I gave it a 3 stars because they used a chicken breast but the spring rolls is not cruchyThe food taste okay but its not a traditional Vietnamese Bun taste more like a fusion South American Vietnamese food.

Banh Cuon Thanh Truc is a hidden gem with delicious steamed rice rolls that are not available at a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants. Their squid sausage has a great texture and is super flavourful. Despite its small exterior, the restaurant is surprisingly spacious inside. The service is friendly. If you're looking for some tasty Banh Cuon, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Their squid sausage is super unique and delicious! It is crispy, bouncy, chewy, tender, crisp, juicy, fabulous. Their tea is extremely tasty and rare. Taste like a hint of pandan in it. Their fried foods are good here. All that plus the lady that works here is super sweet and nice. Wonderful lady.

This Vietnamese place is amazing food-wise.The location is in a small commercial front, in the middle of a not-so-posh area, very unassuming and if you are not looking for it, will be extremely easy to miss it.The ambience is very casual and simple but clean and neat so if you want to impress your companion look elsewhere, unless your companion is a foodie and cares about quality food.Weekday evening, not busy, our order was taken by a nice lady who brought us hot tea right away. Condiments were very fresh which is always a sign of everything else to come. We got rare beef phó and chicken phó, plus spring rolls as appetizer. The ratio meat-broth-noodles was well balanced. Phó have a rich, subtle flavor that fills your nostrils as well as your mouth. We didn't even chat over meals, we were so busy keeping our mouths busy. I finished with Viet hot coffee: Strong and nicely sweetened. The bill was very affordable and we barely could walk with such a big tummy. Next time we'll go for small bowls instead. In summary as a non-Vietnamese patron, the flavor was top notch, fresh and highly satisfying. Service was prompt and friendly. Facilities were clean, neat and simple, location is a bit industrial but reachable, prices are affordable. If all you want it to have a nice, healthy meal, Bahn Cuon Thanh is worth a try and regret-proofed.

Parking: Shared among multiple business that share the commercial front
