I used to frequent this shop a few years ago whenever I needed a bite. Was always a fan of their banh mi, steamed baos, and kimchi fries.
There was always a good balance of flavours between salty from the protein, good chew from the bread/bao, and much needed acidity from the pickled veggies. It all came together with the sauces they used. Be wary of heat levels, the peppers can be overwhelming to the untrained palette.
Overall, this shop is a must-visit in my opinion!

Good when you need a quick bite. Got the pork belly banh mi combo and it’s very tasty! The fries were not so good though, not much flavour and not much crisp. Note that the washroom faucet is very close to the sink so your hands might touch it..

Ordered well before closing. Uber had procured a driver and with 15mins to go before the restaurant closed the restaurant cancelled the order. Horrible service and no apology when I called the store and asked what happened. The attitude was, that’s too bad. Will never order from here again and neither should you. Many superior places in the area to give your money too, who actually care about their service to the customer. Shame on you!

Would not return to this location. Walked in on Friday night at 9:22pm. Ordered our food and was asked if it was take out or dine in. We said dine in and paid. All of a sudden when the transaction goes through this girl wants to say that our food is going to take 10mins and they close the dining room at 9:30pm. We kindly asked her if anything comes out early just bring it to us as we were sitting at a table. As we waited for our food, the girl that took the order comes out with a mop and starts mopping up between tables (including my friend and i, there’s 10 ppl sitting at tables). She was so close to hitting my shoe with the dirty mop. I realized they hadn’t put the wet floor sign out. Our food was ready so another employee walked across the wet floor to bring it to us tied up in a to go bag. They knew we were dining in. They didn’t give me forks for the kimchi fries so I had to walk across the wet floor to get a fork. Luckily for them I didn’t slip and crack my neck. Don’t ask people if they want to dine in or out, take their money, then say that the dining room is closed before we’d end up getting our food.

My favourite spot for lunch. Cheap, fast, and filling. Amazing service. Shout to out to Milena for letting me charge my phone while I ate. Love this place.

I was craving for Vietnamese banhmi and found this store while wandering around the city. It is not banhmi or I could say it’s banhmi in white version.
Ordered the combo with fries but the fries were like swimming in oil, break into small pieces.
It appeared the salad was bit better.
Do not recommend this store or this food.

Went here for the first time based on people recommending it and I was very satisfied. Prices are fair for the portion sizes you get, quick service and overall good fresh food. We got the Pork & Beef sandwiches with the kimchi fries. The fries took me by surprise, was not expecting them that good but I enjoyed it a lot. Would definitely come back to try other options on the menu!

Affordable casual eatery for fantastic and quick bites! Best Banh Mi in Ontario IMO. Highly recommend the fries chicken and fried squid banh mi- they’re even better on bao buns!

It feels silly to complain about spicy food being too spicy, but their “hot” options is just throwing a bunch of red Thai chillies into the sandwich. This is what I picked out of ½ my sandwich. The medium is pretty mild, but I’d stick to that unless you enjoy raw Thai chillies
Quick eat and pretty good
Banh mi boys is tasty, but is very overrated. This location is on par with the others I've been to.
I highly recommend just getting banh mi from any Vietnamese shop. It will be almost on par for 1/3 to 1/2 the price, depending on what you order. Yes the chain is a bit more hip and has some fusion options(mostly not that good), but honestly it's a little pricey for what it is.
If you don't have any other options, banh mi boys is not a bad choice I guess. That's pretty much the only reason I went here as there really aren't any other Viet spots nearby.
