The taste was delicious and the food was fresh. It could have used more meat but instead replied on carrot for filler (and shred it finer please).

We ate there, with our jackets on because the air conditioning was on at maximum. The combo fries were soft, the bahn mi ok. The waiter started clearing the room and stacking chairs while we ate. Everything works self-service but the staff was friendly.

The pork belly Banh Mi was hands down one of the best sandwiches I've eaten. The ingredients (pork belly, cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrots, and medium siracha)are simple but so fresh and just work so well together. The side cabbage salad was a great add on and the sesame dressing was the perfect hint of sweetness. Finally we added a kimchi fries to share...AMAZING!! Fries topped with mayo, pulled pork and kimchi...best meal I've eaten out in a long time. My husband and I ate and were both very full for under $40!

Very good food and price. New location a bit hard to find but it's worth it.
Banh Mi Boys is great. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty, and the service great. Even when it was really busy, the cashier ran out to take my order. The staff seem super friendly and the place has a really nice vibe and a nice view. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.

Walked up the stairs since I live close, and stood there smiling watching staff working in window, multiple staff members looked at me, no acknowledgement.. . on a table to my left was a staff member in apron sleeping at one of the tables. . alright, maybe hes tired.....
They may have been busy so i stood there about 3-5 minutes, with no acknowledgement, not even a hello. I didnt want to yell for attention to not be rude or wake up the napping staff member.. and eventually i noticed there is a screen to order, so I did.. .
waited 20 minutes while 2 different food delivery services came in and got their orders promptly, got Kimchi fries with a tiny portion of fries and a pork sandwich...
Food was middling, customer service was absolutely awful, even if you want people to use your digital menu, speak to them, treat them like a human, dont just stare at them through the kitchen. ..
I wont be returning, much prefer the location at college

At some point since my last trip to Toronto a decade ago they changed from eatery/canteen to normal restaurant. Now you're just paying a reasonable price for a small meal (think light lunch rather than filling dinner) for a standard experience. Worth visiting if you need a snack while downtown but not worth making a trip for.

I've enjoyed eating take out here on many many occasions so it was incredibly disappointing to order delivery from Banh Mi Boys and have the food arrive in a state of inediblity. The food is wrapped tight in wax paper and a paper bag and then sealed closed in a plastic bag which creates a sauna effect completely soaking the food in steam.
My fries were awash in steam and became a literal soup, and worst of all my delicious crusty bread banh mi was a soggy submarine of sadness. This is OUTRAGEOUS and such a waste of an otherwise amazing meal!!
Actually surprised that in 2024 a place as popular as Banh Mi Boys haven't figured out how to deliver their food in a more efficient and appealing way instead of wrapping it in a soaking wet plastic bag

To be honest this place is overhyped. We got the pulled pork, it was too salty. The service was quick but wasn’t friendly.

5 Spice Pork Belly Banh Mi was awesome! The pork belly was tender and nicely seasoned with a good amount of pickled veggies, and a nice soft and crunchy bread.
The sweet potato fries were delicious and perfectly made with the perfect combo of sweetness and crunchiness.

It’s hard to find a Vietnamese place which has vegan Banh Mi and this place offers one vegan and a vegetarian option and they get a star for providing that option.
The individuals on the counter are quite helpful and knowledgeable for the options and were quick to tell us what is vegan and what is not. Good job.
The order came in quickly. The upstairs in quite clean and neat. The place is not accessible as one has to climb up a floor. The entry to the place is quite small and almost discreet. We missed it in our way and had to turn back.
The sandwich is good for vegans. The bread and tofu are the star and wish the tofu had still a lot more flavour to it. The family loved the Bao buns. The fries were really good as well.
I assumed the sandwich would be reasonably priced but this is like a meal and not filling for me.
Vegetarian options: They one vegetarian option which is Tofu Bao Buns (the buns have milk)
Dietary restrictions: They one Banh Mi which is the only vegan option
