Had a chicken banh mi. Although the sandwich is not big, I find it very good and occasionally crave the taste of the paté. Cash only

Great little family run neighborhood spot! Strange that some of the reviews on here are mixed as I found the sandwich (bbq pork) to be delicious and filling; definitely one of the best banh mi’s in the City and at $5.50 how can you go wrong.
We live in a world of “artisanal” $17 dollar egg salad sandwich elevation-of-the-mundane special made by some Plonker with a tattoo of a ghost pepper on their wrist - this place is the antidote to that. Check it out.

Wouldn't Return.
Extremely average banh mi, with below par bread and stingy toppings. One wouldn't get you full, so it's more of a snack than a lunchtime sandwich.
Cash only.
Absolutely delicious banh mi!!!
The regular cold cut banh mi is the most delicious of all the sandwiches.
Definitely try that one!

One of my favourite places to get a banh mi in Toronto. It’s cheap, fast, and delicious. My go to is the BBQ pork, you won’t regret it. Cash or etransfer and take out only.

This is a small family-run take-out business so don't be put off by the cluttered interior. Also, don't go in expecting to be treated like royalty. You're there for the food, and it's very good. The Banh Mi is little pricey, but it's also much better than cheaper Banh Mi you might find in other places. It's not overpriced compared to the places that try to make it fancy and hip.

Bbq chicken banh mi was cold. They didn’t even try to heat the meat. Bbq pork was also so so. Banh gio and the coffee were okay at most.

This was my first visit to this location and I was certainly glad I did. The ban mi sandwich was as tasty and fresh as I have had anywhere but the spring rolls were amazing!. Everything was fresh and the sandwich was stuffed full. A small but important touch was getting two containers of dipping sauce with the spring rolls. The lady serving me at the front was friendly, polite and very efficient. The Ban mi was fresh made inside of a minute. I did not check out the rest of the store but it seemed to be stuffed full of packaged Vietnamese foods and ingredients. I am going to visit again and will do some prior research as to what packaged delicacies I should be looking for. Payment was by cash or money transfer only. Fabulous tasty food at a great price. I will be back. Recommended.

Banh Mi was tasty. Extremely grumpy service felt authentic. The beef jerky (which she only offered as a $30 bag) was unfortunately terribly sweet, expensive snack fail.

Since my favorite banh mi spot closed down a few years ago, I've been on the hunt for a worthy replacement, and I've finally found it here! I'm thrilled to have discovered a new go-to in the east end.
These banh mi sandwiches are simple and comforting, but they really hit the spot. The BBQ pork, lemongrass, and classic varieties are our top picks. At just $5.50 per sandwich, the pricing is very reasonable. The service is quick and efficient, and the sandwiches are delicious. Just a heads up, it's a cash-only place.

While I was waiting for my husband, I happen to be searching on the maps to see what was in our surroundings that I can pick up for our drive back home to Montreal. I am SO excited and happy that I found this place. I picked up two sandwiches (bbq pork and chicken) and a package of shrimp spring rolls… yum yum yum. I asked them to make it spicy. I thought they forgot at one point and then I had a random bite… it seems like all the chili peppers bunched up in one corner ?
In any case. The reviews are pretty damn accurate. You go there, get ur subs and then go home to enjoy the hell out of it. I can guarantee you, I would do this again. It certainly hit the spot. Bbq pork was certainly the number one choice and the chicken is a super close seconds and the spring rolls, damn right worth every penny. I would love to try their steamed bun next time I’m in the area.
Ps. The price is extremely more than reasonable too.

Forget expensive fast food. For the same price you get 3x the value and much better food. The bahn mi bread is so fresh and soft. The sausage spring rolls are packed full of meat. The steam buns are full of meat as well. The staff are always friendly. I'll take this over any fast food any day of the week.
