Went to Banu to show support while we were in Toronto. Honestly, the owner was absolutely a gem of a human! She was so warm and welcoming as if we were part of her family! My young daughter was treated like a queen by everyone. Now for the food, the chicken kabob was one of the best I've ever had! It was absolute perfection. Will definitely return here and so happy we went before our flight back to Ottawa!

This is a beautiful experience from the moment you walk in to Banu's welcoming and delicious restaurant at 777 Queen St West. The food is fantastic - I could have eaten 3 orders of the shortribs alone. The cocktail menu offers something for everyone.

Didn't quite know what to expect with a huge plywood in front of the window. Looked like a whole in the wall from the outside but it was highly recommended by a Persian colleague so we decided to try it and so glad we did. We had never had Persian food before and it was an awesome discovery! Food was delicious and fresh. The chicken was so tender and the sumac spice was a new discovery. Highly recommend!
